Firefly ranch is a must do! Amazing host! Beautiful land to camp on, plenty of privacy, great campfire pits, plenty of wildlife, no light pollution, and say hello to the amazing dogs out there! 😊 We are looking to come back when the fireflies are in season! 😊

2 nights at Skoolie in the City

Very comfortable stay with heaters to keep it warm even with overnight temperatures being cold. Bus was hooked up to power and water and gas making it a fully equipped place to stay for a quick shower, using the toilet, and cooking. I even got a little hot at one point the first night with the heaters and warm clothing. Easy to find, easy to park, and not too far away from the suburbs and downtown

This was the perfect place to get away from the well mannered frivolity at RenFest but still feel like we were enjoying the great outdoors disconnected from the digital world. The camp was clean and quiet. We never found the showers but only stayed a night. The Zen Den was just what we needed after a fun day of eating, drinking and being a tad too merry!

This spot was very secluded and private! We loved being able to park in a shady spot. The facilities were not far from our site and the bath house was one of the better outdoor showers we have used. We also loved the friendly cat!

Tents range in size from 10 - 20 feet. Glamping vintage trailers are available too, and are also fully furnished with electric. The fully renovated vintage trailers sleep 2-3 people each. Or bring your own small to mid-size RV, tent, or car/truck/van and pick a cool cleared or primitive site of your choice. We also have 5 electric 30 Amp hookup available. The camp is surrounded by farms and ranches, wineries offering music options (one is dog friendly!). Lake Conroe is 20 minutes to the east. Amenities include a cowboy pool, courtyard seating and camp fire pit, hot showers, bathrooms (currently port-a-potties), fiber wifi, and a potable water/filling station. The property borders a small creek and has abundant trees, and wildlife. Beautiful views from every vantage with a high field on one half of the property and a low bottom land near the creek where there are many options for a relaxing, private stay. Chose big sky or a more secluded spot. Incredible wildflowers on display in the spring. The property is not bordered by close neighbors or dense housing, just more land so sunsets and rises are wonderful and open. Low ambient light pollution at night means the stars are very bright (and so are the fireflies)! Guests are required to communicate estimated time of arrival well in advance. When arriving, make sure to meet Aaron or a designate at the red gate before entering further into the property. If tent camping, please do not bring glass containers, also you must pack out all garbage and waste. Inquire ahead of time to see if firewood is available to be gathered on site, or if you will need to bring your own. No uninvited guests without 24 hour prior approval, and additional guest fees paid. Also please no more than one dog per site.
