Paradise on Lake Texoma (formerly Paradise Cove) is a beautiful, secluded commercial campground located in the "Big Mineral Arm'' of Lake Texoma. Built in the 80's by the Corps of Engineers, Paradise has been a mainstay of the lake for many years. Recently, the current management team are working to grow Paradise into something special. With a huge focus on community and culture, Paradise has tons of space for people to come together and enjoy the company and also areas to wander off and find a quiet lakeside spot to relax. You'll also be able to catch one of the best breathtaking sunsets on the lake!
The wildlife we have on the property is amazing! I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos!
We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding.
The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods.
In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family.

We are also collector's of vintage RV's and currently have various vintage trailers and motorhomes on the property. There are horses and longhorn cattle that roam the 12 acres. We have added RV spaces to share the ranch experience with others. Be sure to visit the hey shed where you can visit with animals up close and feed them. We tent camped for the Thanksgiving weekend and it was lovely! The wheelbarrow available for use was clutch for the walk-in site. Even though it was mostly flat, it saved us the hassle of carrying things down and back. They sell wood and are easily available for questions or if you need to place an order via text. The bathrooms were clean, had TP, and the water was hot! They are the main bathrooms for the whole property and are right next to our car park, so pretty convenient. Recommend a luggable loo otherwise.
We were the only campers so had our pick of site. For this time of year, only appeared that half of the sites wouldve been useable. Some were muddy from deer and recent rains, plenty of room to spread out, though. There was unfortunately some glass spread around (user's fault, not properties) so be careful with pets or in warmer months, being barefoot.
The beach was really clean and you can tell they do regular cleanups. Appreciated the extra social areas and walking the property was a great hike. It was super peaceful on the calm nights and cozy on the windy ones.

Gary’s place was just right for our overnight stays. Super easy 20-minute drive to visit our kids and grandkids in Fort Worth. Gary was a great host, really enjoyed chatting with him and hearing a bit about the old dairy farm. Our two grandsons (3 and 5) stayed with us for a couple of nights and loved seeing the longhorns and exploring the property. We’ll definitely be back.

I have a Ford Transit camper van, so I just needed a place to crash on the weekend away from the city.
I really like that even though it feels I am away from the city there are stores and restaurants 10 minutes drive from the farm.
I also appreciated they had a nice warm shower and a bathroom right by the area I parked.
The fire pit is shareable, but it seems like no one cared for it, so I had it all for me 😅

This small RV campground had everything I could possibly want. There was a huge open field to play in and throw the ball for Lucie. The sunset was gorgeous. The host, Gary was kind and informative. The neighbors were friendly. There were even cows to feed and horses to watch. The eclectic architecture and attractive decor kept me entertained for two days.
