While you enjoy your farm stay, watch the chickens and the goats forage on our eight-acre property just five minutes from Granbury’s historic square, and two miles from the closest boat ramp. Soak in the water trough right off the porch, or lounge by the fire pit. Use our farm as home base while you explore the local wineries, breweries, restaurants, antique and junk shops and so much more that Granbury has to offer. We even offer WiFi and a smart TV. Access to the Airstream will be in a field where we keep our goats, chickens, turkeys, and two LARGE, but FRIENDLY livestock guardian dogs. Feel welcome to explore our front field, located between our driveway/parking area and the road. We tend to leave grass here high at some times of the year for the wild flowers, but there are paths mowed around and through it. This is where our big green houses (high tunnels) are. Walking through the park and the square is just magical at Christmastime. Easy Like a Sunday Morning is nestled just outside the city limits of Granbury, Texas (approximately 3 miles from Granbury Historic square) @ a private residence just outside the city limits. New laundry facility down the road, dump station @ Thorp Springs RV park (20 dollars), Davids Grocery store and Dollar General, all only .03 miles away. This is not really a vacation destination but more a safe place to stay coming to town to explore all Granbury has to offer or a place to catch your breathe while traveling on the road. Friends have enjoyed escaping here for years. I decided to share the zen. It's a bit rough around the edges but if the new venture succeeds it will only get better each time you visit. Patio with a view of Lake Granbury and surrounding valley of at least 3 counties. Communal: Bonfire area when there isn't a burn ban (bring your chair). Also small fire pit on patio. Games- cornhole Water available ( water hose) No sewer , Trash cans on site Portable toilet Pets welcome

I loved staying in the magical tipi on Melissa’s land. A truly remarkable experience with amazing breakfast as well. I stayed for three nights and never tired of the entrance to the enchanted garden, the energy of the tipi, the wonderful hammock and garden chairs to lounge in, and relaxing bathtub (and soothing record player). An unforgettable experience, right in Denton.

This place was amazing! Melissa met us as we pulled in. My two little ones immediately adored her. She was so nice and welcoming. I was honestly blown away with how secluded and “in the woods out in the middle of nowhere” it felt. The boys (6 and 3) and I haven’t done a real camping trip yet and I wanted to do kind of a trial run first. It honestly couldn’t have went better. They said it felt like we went through a portal! We had plenty of fire wood to roast marshmallows and hot dogs and the boys loved the teepee! Thank you again Melissa for such an amazing experience!

This was my first attempt at taking my young children outdoors overnight. I wanted something as close to camping as possible, and the farm teepee was exactly what I imagined. Melissa was a wonderful hostess! She was kind, thoughtful and attentive. Most importantly however, she recognized that crazed mom look in my eyes and instantly helped me relax with her friendly demeanor. Teepee was super roomy; 2 big comfy beds with room for 2 wild kids to get their crazies out. The farm was a little bit of wild that they could safely explore and start to get comfortable with all the scary spiders and loud roosters crowing LOL Her vinyl collection was insane! I need to come back just to listen to more records. But by far the best part of the trip (besides the crazy delicious farm breakfast), was at night when it got quiet and the moon and stars lit up everything and I felt a peace you just can’t get in the city. Getting back in touch with nature like that was incredibly healing and rejuvenating. 10/10 would recommend!

The teepee on Melissa’s land is a unique place to stay. The teepee is big! The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the electric blankets. We stayed warm and cozy all night. The she shed has a big tub and the bathroom was clean. There’s a coffee maker, record player and a sauna! The land has a privet? hedge that provides for a secluded feel. We enjoyed our stay very much.

My family had a great time! Extremely accommodating host and the whole experience was simple which let us concentrate on having fun. We stayed there mainly at night and explored Texas during the day. Welcome to the Airstream on Arison Farm. While you enjoy your farm stay, watch the chickens and the goats forage on our eight-acre property just five minutes from Granbury’s historic square, and two miles from the closest boat ramp. Soak in the water trough right off the porch, or lounge by the fire pit. Use our farm as home base while you explore the local wineries, breweries, restaurants, antique and junk shops and so much more that Granbury has to offer. We even offer WiFi and a smart TV. Access to the Airstream will be in a field where we keep our goats, chickens, turkeys, and two LARGE, but FRIENDLY livestock guardian dogs. Feel welcome to explore our front field, located between our driveway/parking area and the road. We tend to leave grass here high at some times of the year for the wild flowers, but there are paths mowed around and through it. This is where our big green houses (high tunnels) are. The huge tree in the middle is an old native pecan.

Walking through the park and the square is just magical at Christmastime. Easy Like a Sunday Morning is nestled just outside the city limits of Granbury, Texas (approximately 3 miles from Granbury Historic square) @ a private residence just outside the city limits. New laundry facility down the road, dump station @ Thorp Springs RV park (20 dollars), Davids Grocery store and Dollar General, all only .03 miles away. This is not really a vacation destination but more a safe place to stay coming to town to explore all Granbury has to offer or a place to catch your breathe while traveling on the road. Friends have enjoyed escaping here for years. I decided to share the zen. It's a bit rough around the edges but if the new venture succeeds it will only get better each time you visit. Patio with a view of Lake Granbury and surrounding valley of at least 3 counties. Communal: Bonfire area when there isn't a burn ban (bring your chair). Also small fire pit on patio. Games- cornhole Water available ( water hose) No sewer , Trash cans on site Portable toilet Pets welcome
