Welcome to River Bone Ranch at River Hills Ranches! Reconnect with the majesty of Texas outdoor beauty at this one-of-a-kind river-front campsite. The Lampasas River slows at the bend and forms a natural pool for the enjoyment of both kids and adults. Bring your own COVERED above-ground fire bowl firewood if you would like to enjoy a campfire. Please be aware this is a primitive campsite with no restroom facilities or buildings. Be sure to bring a tent, chairs, food, water, and pool toys!

Small 15 acre ranch in central Texas, 45 min north west of Austin.  Tent camping, and Rv that self supporting.  There a pond, when it rains,  we have horses and chickens, small wooded area. About the Property
Tucked away near Colorado Bend State Park, you will find our off-the-grid ranch. Small 15-acre ranch in central Texas, 45 min northwest of Austin you will find our humble oasis that is home to not only our family but too small chickens and horses. You will still have a fairly private site but don't be surprised if you hear animals and other campers. Relax on the patio or by the fire pit with the family while you stare up at the stars. Fish at one of the three rivers within a 5-mile radius.
About the Listing 
Take your pick from our many grills to cook some great camping classics while you camp under the stars. You will have access to 2 restrooms and a shower so you can relax, recharge and enjoy this off-the-grid site.  Some great activities we offer are yoga and art supplies for crafting.
We provide art supplies upon request. 
A firepit is also available to snuggle up to during the cooler nights. 
We do offer WIFI but encourage our guests to connect with nature.

We are an old Texas General Store near Colorado Bend State Park.
 We have a funky laid-back vibe.
 Folks out here are nice.
 We have amazing food and many famous music artists play here.
 After they play it is quiet and peaceful out here.
We also have a store with basic groceries.  
Our food has been featured in many media outlets.

Great views of ponds and natural sources of runoff water abound!

36 ACRE R.V. ESCAPE

Once owned by an old farmer who turned the surrounding hillsides into terraces so that the land could be farmed and retain the watershed.  With love this old farmer crafted the hills into terraced farmland.  It's been 60 or so years since all of that!  Now there's woods and prairie to be enjoyed!Learn more about this land:Complete privacy.  Enjoy country campin' at it's finest.  37 Terraced Acres for launching your ATV or dirt bike into the air.  Very close to town and anything that you might need.  Camp anywhere you would like! There is an RV for cooking and seating for eating.

Pull in onto the lighter area in a straight line with the driveway into the gate with trailers or heavy vehicles/RV

Sure you can feed us!  ONLY Commercially Approved Horse Feed & Hay PLEASE.  Just ask any feed store salesperson for what to buy.  

Great views from many places on this 36 acres!  There are many options for you to explore and camp.

The Farm and the surrounding farms have trees, vegetation, animals, birds, and cattle. One of my great personal experience on the farm was taking  a picture of a Bobcat.  We have deer and turkeys that roam the farm as well.  There is also a natural stream and a pond that we are working on to repair and fill.
