The Cozy Cactus Airstream

Newly remodeled vintage Airstream in the big backyard of a Central East Austin home. 3 miles from downtown. Quiet, charming neighborhood, yet close to all the excitement. Shower under the stars in the large, private outdoor shower with a wall of Jasmine. Enjoy our flower gardens. Fast WiFi. Walk to art studios, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, live music venues, theaters, food trucks & hike+bike trails, farmer's markets and urban gardens. 2 queer adults+2 dogs live in the main house. This 31ft Airstream sleeps 1 comfortably, two intimately.

Experience a wild, biodiverse 18 acres on Fitzhugh Rd in Dripping Springs, with its old growth woods and 5 acre meadow. We’re renting our air conditioned 1966 Airstream International, with an adjacent bathhouse and kitchen. A perfect place to experience the area, even in the heat of the summer or in the winter. We’re 10-15 minutes from Hamilton Pool, Reimer Ranch, Pedernales State Park, as well as the many wineries, breweries, distilleries and wedding venues in Dripping Springs.

This magical space is the perfect backdrop for a variety of special events, including weddings, corporate retreats, yoga and mindfulness retreats, reunions, birthdays, girl's weekends and bachelorette parties, & many other special occasions. 7 total accommodations starring a Luxury Straw Bale Villa, 3 Eco-Cabins, a Cottage, and 2 Unique Safari Tents.

Our main house, 'La Casa de Joy,' is a stunning luxury straw bale villa (once featured on HGTV) that is truly the perfect gathering space for a variety of special occasions and memorable events. Originally built by an artist & healer, her creative intention and style is felt throughout the entire property.

Living Waters is blessed with an abundance of nature, including deer, birds, butterflies, crickets, hummingbirds, & more. You may wake up to the deer sleeping just outside your accommodation. 

Indulge you and your group by taking advantage of our on-site private yoga, massage, personal training, and facial services, and kayak, canoe, and stand-up paddle board rentals. We recommend local activities such as a wine tasting at Stone House Vineyard (walking distance), a swim/picnic at Krause Springs spring-fed pool, or an eco-adventure at Cypress Valley Canopy Tours.

This unique property is a tranquil and rejuvenating respite in the hill country on Lake Travis, therefore it's not ideal for loud parties. We love animals, but we are a non-pet-accommodating property due to the abundant wildlife present.  We look forward to making memories with you....

What you eat or do inside your vehicle is your business not ours, but we ask that in any communal space, including  on BBQs and campfires that no meat be cooked or consumed please. PETS MUST BE LEASHED for their own safety. There is ample wildlife here: We have deer that pass through, feral hogs, an armadillo, frogs, turtles, centipedes, lizards, scorpions and snakes (some are poisonous!).

Our Sanctuary includes a young garden and organic orchard. The Eye of the Storm is a spiral labyrinth, inspired in part by the giant spiral at Calico Basin in Red Rock National Conservation Area just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. It is the featured part of a small Peace Garden and the larger Seed of Life intentional Essene community retreat center. At the center of the 32 foot wide limestone labyrinth are Nikola Tesla inspired coiled copper pipes topped with double terminated crystals to create a positive energy vortex. The labyrinth was installed in the Summer of 2022 and officially opened on International Peace Day 2022. It is listed on the World Wide Labyrinth Locator.

Numerous Energy Vortices connect underground within a rough triangular region between Austin, San Antonio and Llano, Texas. One of the largest outcroppings is called Enchanted Rock, a massive pink granite dome rising above Central Texas. The vortex energy spreads out south and eastwards from this special State protected Natural Area. The energy flows through telluric Ley Lines that cross over the Edwards Aquafer – one of the most prolific aquifers in the world – which spouts countless healing springs. At the very center of this energy vortex area lies the Texas Wine Trail between Johnson City and Fredericksburg. The Seed of Life Sanctuary is along this highway and at the VERY center of this zone.

Gather for sacred ceremony on our Main Stage or in Ceremonial Ground on a magnificent splay of Limestone and Crystal-Rich granite. This outcropping is alongside a year-round spring-fed creek. Underneath the massive, ancient lava magma lava flow granite river rocks are large crystals, quartz, topaz and tourmaline. Standing barefoot on the rock you can feel the energy emanating upward.

Our tent and sleeping gear is the only thing we had to bring - everything else is so nicely set up. 

Off the grid ranch

Small 15 acre ranch in central Texas, 45 min north west of Austin.  Tent camping, and Rv that self supporting.  There a pond, when it rains,  we have horses and chickens, small wooded area. About the Property
Tucked away near Colorado Bend State Park, you will find our off-the-grid ranch. Small 15-acre ranch in central Texas, 45 min northwest of Austin you will find our humble oasis that is home to not only our family but too small chickens and horses. You will still have a fairly private site but don't be surprised if you hear animals and other campers. Relax on the patio or by the fire pit with the family while you stare up at the stars. Fish at one of the three rivers within a 5-mile radius.
About the Listing 
Take your pick from our many grills to cook some great camping classics while you camp under the stars. You will have access to 2 restrooms and a shower so you can relax, recharge and enjoy this off-the-grid site.  Some great activities we offer are yoga and art supplies for crafting.
We provide art supplies upon request. 
A firepit is also available to snuggle up to during the cooler nights. 
We do offer WIFI but encourage our guests to connect with nature.

Camping near Hamilton Pool

This is a relaxing spot in the Hill Country to camp and enjoy the surrounding area with nearby swimming, kayaking, rock climbing, bicycle riding, and hiking on and around the Pedernales River, as well as the many restaurants, wineries, and breweries in the area.
We have a variety of campsites styles ranging from cozy secluded oak groves to more open spaces for camping under the stars.

Rates: $25 PER PERSON, PER NIGHT (minimum of 2 campers).

Children age 3 and under are free. If bringing children, please tell us how many and their ages. 

Nearby Parks for hiking and swimming:
HAMILTON POOL PRESERVE (1.9 mi) is open by reservation for hiking and swimming. Visits are for 3 1/2 hour blocks of time. No dogs allowed at Hamilton Pool 
MILTON REIMERS RANCH COUNTY PARK (2.5 mi) is nearby and is open for hiking, swimming, fishing, rock climbing, and cycling. Dogs on a leash allowed at Reimers. CASH ONLY! $5/per person, no reservation required. We love it there!
WEST CAVE OUTDOOR DISCOVERY CENTER (2.6 mi) is open by reservation only for guided tours of the waterfall/cave-no swimming allowed. No dogs allowed at West Cave 
PEDERNALES FALLS STATE PARK (34 mi) is open by reservation only for day use hiking and swimming.  Dogs on a leash allowed
ENCHANTED ROCK STATE NATURAL AREA (71 mi) is open by reservation only for day use hiking  on weekends and holidays.

If we are not under a burn ban, BRING FIREWOOD and/or charcoal because we have fire rings and BBQ cookers at most of the sites. If we are under a burn ban, campfires (even in fire rings) are not allowed, but bring some charcoal because you may still use BBQ Cookers, which we have at each of our sites. You may also use a campstove if you wish to bring one.

We have a hot/cold outdoor shower our guests are free to use.

Our guest Joey set up the most lovely camp in just a few minutes. She even decorated with little solar lights that looked like tiny moons in the tree. 

Orrasis Ranch

This property has been a store, restaurant, bar, and now a place for folks to rest a while and enjoy the hill country and all it has to offer. There is a bar b q trailer and a store down the street for your convenience.
