Experience a wild, biodiverse 18 acres on Fitzhugh Rd in Dripping Springs, with its old growth woods and 5 acre meadow. We’re renting our air conditioned 1966 Airstream International, with an adjacent bathhouse and kitchen. A perfect place to experience the area, even in the heat of the summer or in the winter. We’re 10-15 minutes from Hamilton Pool, Reimer Ranch, Pedernales State Park, as well as the many wineries, breweries, distilleries and wedding venues in Dripping Springs.Our 1966 Airstream is just past the main house, nestled in the woods. The Airstream is one big open room with a queen sized bed at one end and a couch that converts to a full sized bed. A Japanese inspired bathhouse is a few feet away, complete with a kitchen, an outdoor grill, shower, toilet and laundry facilities. We have a fire ring just behind the house, but fires are prohibited most of the year due to burn bans. Guests are free to roam the 18 acre property, with its old growth woods and 5 acre meadow. The rammed earth house and its back porch are inhabited by a renter and are off limits. You'll hear tropical birds next door as our next door neighbors have a bird sanctuary on their private 16 acres!
Pets are allowed. Our tenant in the main house has 3 dogs and 2 cats, so you might want to reach out to us about pets. The property is fenced only on 3 sides, but we have a large fenced garden area with shade where dogs can be off leash.
The property is a quiet respite in the heart of popular Fitzhugh Rd, with its wedding venues, wineries, breweries and distilleries. Hamilton Pool, Reimer Ranch and Pedernales State Park are just 15 minutes away from the property. There are several food options closeby such the Hamilton Pool food trucks (Leylas Kitchen- Lebanese food, Namaste Austin - Indian food, etc), great coffee and pastries 5 minutes away at Thyme and Dough on the corner of RR12 and Fitzhugh, Abby Jane Bakeshop and Alice's Restaurant next to Treaty Oak Distillery. Jester King Brewery and Family Business Beer Co have great pizza too. Dreamland Dripping Springs has food, mini golf and pickleball.
