Peaceful Hills Retreat 390 American Way Centerville, TN 37033 (Pleasantville) Looking for the perfect getaway, you will find some peace and quiet here! Only 14.6 miles from I-40 and located on 97 acres, this campground is surrounded by nature, very secluded and private. There is a crystal-clear creek that runs parallel with the driveway and fresh spring water flowing from pipe in the rock close to the entrance on American Way. The creek is bio-diverse, filled with fascinating species, and spring fed, which means it stays cool in the summertime. There are three beautiful homes which are able to be rented out as well as a fourth home that is for the property managers. The A-frame log cabin at the top of the hill is called the Lodge. The second home, which is a two-story brown log Cabin, offers individual bedrooms. The third home is the Cottage. This is a special place and we are happy and honored to share it with you! Peaceful Hills Retreat, a family owned business, started in May of 2017. It all began when Jennifer’s brilliant brother booked a two-story home through Airbnb for Jennifer and the family for a week in the Carolinas. Their Airbnb vacation was a great experience, and she loved having a kitchen to cook in, while traveling with her large family. She gladly said goodbye to tiny hotel rooms. Linda and her daughter, Jennifer realized they desired to run a BnB, and watched the scattered pieces beautifully fall into place. Peaceful Hills Retreat is also a wedding venue. There are three beautiful spots for a lovely outdoor wedding. The waterfall site is a favorite. The lodge is a beautiful place for the reception to take place outdoors At each home you may read a special book called A Soldier’s Child Foundation (ASC). This life-changing, wonderful foundation near Nashville, serves children all over our great nation who have sadly lost a parent who served in our military. Several sites to camp on 17 acres of forested land. In Linden Tn., an hour and a half drive from Nashville. The property is on a mountain ridge and community of large acreage properties ranging from 5 to 70 acres +. You'll be a 11 minute drive from the small town of Linden for easy access to a grocery store, restaurants and the Commodore Inn and Cafe. Five minutes to the Buffalo River with several kayak, canoe and tubing rental outfitters available from town or close by. Currently 'off grid' At the entrance is a concrete parking pad where an RV can park and enjoy a lovely view of the Loblolly pine forest below. Further down the mountain a winding road can be walked or driven (best if off-road, but I drive a front wheel SUV when dry) leads to additional sites on a level field of a mixture of cleared or treed , but private sites. A level area, then further slopes around the property to streams on either sides and a waterfall in the back of the property. Access to the waterfall is down a fairly steep mountain slope so accessible only for the adventurous.

Conveniently located less than a mile from exit 126 on I-40 easy access and circle drive for convenience, we are nestled in a pine forest with plenty of shade. Each spacious site has both full 50 and 30 amp hookups with sewer and water. Free WiFi is available. Nature trails are currently under construction as well as a dog park and a playground for the kids.

Weekend Trip to Peaceful Hills Retreat & Campground

We absolutely loved our stay!! Directions to get to the retreat / campground were very clear and easy to follow! All of the camp sites were beautiful. We enjoyed the quite and listening to nature around us. We ended up getting rained out on our 2nd day but we enjoyed our glamping trip !!! Our spot was perfect for our tent. We will definitely be back SOON!!! There is a very small waterfall about a 20 min drive from the gramp ground that we went to explore. Type in “The Waterfall” on Google Maps! The creek at the retreat was also fun to play around in! One of my new favorite spots!
