We now raise the wooly Mangalitsa pig and sell to the best chefs and restaurants. We sell our pork at the farm too! All of our campsites are next to running water except the two hilltop sites. Two porta-potties are on the farm and private porta-potties are available for rent. Groups of eight or more are required to rent a porta potty should you not bring your own toilet system with you. We do not allow the use of our small wooded areas as toilets. Our location is phenomenal we are an hour from Knoxville and Asheville and just about 1/4 mile off I-40. Right at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and 35 minutes from Gatlinburg about 40 minutes to Pigeon Forge (Dollywood), also about 45 minutes to Sevierville and one of my favorite Tanger Outlets!! The beautiful Smoky Mountains the National Park is filled with hiking trails and horse stables and trails. Some of the best white water rafting is less then 5 miles up the road along with zip lining and a lil taste of moonshine here and there. This property is primitive with no electric and has a camping style bathhouse. IT’s recommended for outdoor lovers and people that are not too needy. Hurricane Helene brought unforecasted changes in the land but the tranquility of the River remains. We have worked to restore as much as we could. As for us it’s still our happy place in the Smoky Mountains!

Learn more about this land:You’ll cross the covered bridge (clearance 11’6” ) as you enter our farm, a 73 acre small family farm, nestled in the Buffalo Valley of Northeast TN, and featuring a down home country atmosphere. What makes our farm special are all of the unique extras: a working log cabin blacksmith shop, log cabin art gallery, certified commercial kitchen, lots of watchable wildlife, and walking trails. We have a one acre wildlife pond and a smaller pond fed by springs and Buffalo Creek, which runs through the farm. Our small buffalo herd is pastured not far from the campsites and our friendly peacocks and chickens roam the grounds. We also offer classes in blacksmithing, art, foraging and cooking periodically. We are rural but not remote and are minutes away from state parks, fishing, hiking, rafting and other recreational activities as well as downtown Johnson City and Historic Jonesborough with breweries, shops, and many restaurants. Our location is phenomenal we are an hour from Knoxville and Asheville and just about 1/4 mile off I-40. Right at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and 35 minutes from Gatlinburg about 40 minutes to Pigeon Forge (Dollywood), also about 45 minutes to Sevierville and one of my favorite Tanger Outlets!! The beautiful Smoky Mountains the National Park is filled with hiking trails and horse stables and trails. Some of the best white water rafting is less then 5 miles up the road along with zip lining and a lil taste of moonshine here and there. This property is primitive with no electric and has a camping style bathhouse. IT’s recommended for outdoor lovers and people that are not too needy. Hurricane Helene brought unforecasted changes in the land but the tranquility of the River remains. We have worked to restore as much as we could. As for us it’s still our happy place in the Smoky Mountains!

We traveled as a family of 4 and two dogs and we had a wonderful time at Ocean Blue cabin. Exceptional host and cabin was amazing. We had everything and more to has such a great time. Hiking trail on the property was perfect for our young kids. We took it twice and met friendly cows on top of the hill. Hot tub was a perfect spot for after hike and evening watching the stars! We will definitely come back and bring friends with us!

My wife and I loved staying in the Green cabin. The fire pit and hot tub were the best. The cabin was great. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good hot water. The first night we made steaks over a campfire with baked potatoes from the air fryer. The second night we made hot dogs and roasted marshmallows on the campfire. It was a beautiful drive from Knoxville. It was about as close to perfect as you can get. Thank you for the firewood, and thank you for having us.

It exceeded our expectations. The bathrooms were checked regularly and super clean. Tent itself was clean and well kept, the bed was firm and comfortable. We arrived after dark, someone met us upon arrival and escorted us to the campsite and made sure all the lights worked. Great relaxing experience, would recommend!

We loved staying at the sight. Enjoyed the privacy and the view, and the hot tub. This was in spite of Mother Nature giving us rain for 3 days. Kevin went out of his way to provide us with dry wood; we just couldn't use it. The facility was clean, great condition. It was high-end and we plan to return at another time. Thanks!

Kevin's cabins was well stocked with all the essentials, clean, well furnished, and cozy. Great for couples! The hot tub was clean and warm upon arrival. Fire pit ready for use or cooking food over with the supplied grilling grate and fresh firewood stacked close by. Ocean Blue is a wonderful place to get away from it all for a relaxing stay. Would absolutely recommend to others.

We absolutely loved our stay here. All of the sites were filled during our stay, but everybody was quiet and respectful. Kevin was super helpful with anything we needed. Sitting in the hot tub at night while watching the stars was a highlight. The cabin was kept very clean, and it was stocked up with everything you’ll need. There was also tons of firewood for the fire pit. The land also had nature trails that you climb up to see a beautiful view. We’re really looking forward to coming here again!

The property was quiet and well maintained. If you want to unplug for a few days then this is definitely the place. Convenient to Maggie Valley, Waynesville and the Blue Rodge Parkway. I really enjoyed our stay! The only improvements I would suggest would be adding Plexiglass to close the glamping trailer in for the colder months so it could potentially be heated by a small electric heater or screening to keep the mosquitoes out during the summer. Our trip was the first freeze of the fall and the trailer got very cold! Luckily we had great sub zero sleeping bags and even a small electric blanket which helped tremendously. The moisture blowing in off the pond is really what made it a little uncomfortable. I have camped with my horses in very similar set ups for years and found these things to be super helpful. This glamping set up has electricity which could make it a little more comfortable for folks who aren't used to the elements. Great place and great hosts! Will definitely stay again.

Hosts were very friendly. Site was perfect and had everything I needed. Excellent panoramic views of the smokies. Sites were evenly spread out with a fair amount of privacy, and no noise pollution. Would definitely stay here again!

John and Jenni were so nice, inquired about our arrival time, we arrived quite a bit later than expected, and they still met us at our campsite to make sure we had everything we needed.. The campsite was so peaceful! We took a hike right behind our glamping tent the next morning, the view is kind of blocked, but the sun twinkling through the trees, beautiful foliage falling around you, was very nice and serene! I recommend giving them a try! P.S. Clean restrooms/showers were a plus and the beautiful fresh cut flowers were perfect!

Blue Ocean was very clean, bathroom immaculate. Cozy place , very quiet, plenty of firewood. Hot tub was amazing under the stars. Bed was comfy, plenty of towels and bathrobes for hot tub was a nice touch. Highly recommend!

What a unique stay!! John has created an awesome place to stay. The touches he has furnished a horse trailer with made me smile! If you needed it, it was there! He was responsive to all my messages and we'd stay again if we're in the area. Be advised you may need an extra blanket on cold nights! (Altho if I had looked it was probably there!)

This glamping spot is awesome!!! John & Brandi are incredible hosts. I really needed a couple of nights in cool, fresh mountain air. The beds are super comfortable and the port- a-potty was spotless ( and odor free) !Excellent location. Jump at the chance to book.

This place is so special. I have never had a more comfortable glamping experience. The hot tub and views are just perfection. They thought of everything by including wifi and a little doggy care package. The pancake mix was such a sweet touch and made for an awesome morning. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Our experience is probably the best that we've had so far. The tent was very clean, the bed was very clean and the bathhouse was very clean as well which is amazing. The night sky looked so pretty and it's very nice if you want to escape a busy city and love rural areas. It was nice having access to a mini fridge and the communal microwave was an added bonus. It's the perfect weekend escape for a couple who doesn't like partying and wants to just chill out and take in the fresh air. There was also places to plug in our phones and laptop. The bed was pretty comfortable as well. The only thing I'd suggest is bring bugspray because it can be a little buggy during certain times of the day but it's not very buggy at night besides the occasional spider which we don't mind. Overall very perfect for our needs of being a clean, quite place to chill after doing outdoor activities and exploring new places.

Loved listening to the Creekside and enjoyed our firepit right next to it. The chickens and lighting were an added bonus. Philip was communicative and we got to meet Ray while he fed the chickens and enjoyed swapping stories with him. Thank you both~ lovely spot!
