Rum Creek Cattle Co. has over 200 acres of farmland in beautiful Sparta Tennessee! Our farm is home to a herd of about fifty cattle, many friendly dogs, and four sweet horses. Our farm is a 10-minute drive from multiple Tennessee State Parks, including Burgess Falls, Virgin Falls, Cane Hollow and many more. We're within a day's drive to even more selections of the best hiking trails, cliffs, outdoor attractions, and waterfalls in the entire state. Our farm is a perfect halfway point between Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga. Anyone looking to take their time getting between the three cities in order to explore the natural beauty of East Tennessee will fall in love with Sparta! Our farm has a new designated parking area for your truck, trailer, or van. (No RVs please... at least not yet!) When you arrive, come to the gate that's closest to our horse riding rink, across the street from our largest barn. Call the number provided and Frank, (our owner, head farmer, and kindly steward) will unlock the gate that leads to your parking spot. Don't worry, your parking space won't be anywhere near the cattle... but we'll be happy to safely introduce you to the herd if you'd like. Please camp next to your vehicle, and provide your own toilet. The house on the property is for Frank's use only. Please clean up after yourself, and don't mess with any animals without Frank's supervision. Cattle and horses can hurt you if you interact with them unsupervised. Please refrain from making a campfire in our fields. Finally, keep all gates closed. We don't need any livestock getting out! Thank you for your interest in camping with us. We hope to see you out here soon!

Limb-It-Less Funny Farm

5. Limb-It-Less Funny Farm

33mi from Crossville · 3 sites · Tents, RVs
2-acre country setting with a small creek and sitting area. Gas and charcoal grills are available, along with two fire pits. One guest room with a queen bed is available. There is plenty of tent space, and tent campers have access to the main house bathroom. I have two 50-amp RV connections with water. Currently, there is no dump station, but both north and south on I-75 there are truck stops with dump stations less than 10 miles away. Horse and donkey trail rides are offered by two neighbors. Enjoy scenic rides to popular attractions and roads such as the Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Bald River Falls, along with many other waterfalls. Also nearby are plenty of water activities, such as paddle boating, canoeing, whitewater rafting, fishing, and boating. I’m a poultry hobbyist, so only dogs under 10 pounds are allowed, and they must be leashed. There are free-range chickens, ducks, turkeys, and two small dogs on the property. I also raise Red Golden Phoenix and Tennessee Red quail. This is a laid-back place run by a one-legged chicken tender. A sense of humor is required.
