Our second New camping site "Back Forty Camping" is located on our adjacent horse farm property, just across from Neal Creek camping! Plenty of shaded area's. Learn more about this land: We are only 1/2 a mile from the Interstate 85. Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark! For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? My property consists of a ridge running east to west with the access road running along the south border.  the land slopes up to the ridge for about 300 feet, and then down to the river for about 800 feet.  The south side of the ridge has a small pond close to the road.  The rest is pasture, and an orchard and small vineyard.  The north side of the ridge is old growth timber, and shady and cool.  The two cabins are along the river.  One is perched on a ridge over looking the river and the other is right on the river.  The swimming hole is 30 feet from the lower cabin.  There is room for a couple campsites along the river also.  The south side of the ridge was a cotton farm decades ago, but was covered in timber when I bought it 12 years ago.  The north side has been in timber for the known history of the property.

Located on family land granted by King Charles in 1685 we have worked hard to restore and refurbish in a sustainable way, using the trees and supplies from the land that they sit on. Hand crafting doors and furniture the way the family did it 140 plus years ago. About the adventure co side, We are an adrenaline pumping ATV and SXS park with 25+ miles of mountainous trails at four skill levels; Green (Easy), Blue (Challenging), Black Diamond (Very Difficult) and Double Black Diamond (Most Difficult). You can bring your own ATV or SXS or rent one of ours. We have cabins & camp sites that are accessed by ATV or SXS on the mountains as well as hiking or biking. We do not allow jeeps, trucks or dirt bike motorcycles on the mountain, just ATV's and SXS vehicles.

She's been well cared for over the past 50+ years, and only the things that really matter have been updated - bathroom, larger instant water heater, new AC, microwave, fridge, Keurig coffeemaker, memory foam mattresses with latex toppers, dedicated WiFi, surge-protected USB outlets – but as far as everything else, from the '70s vintage cookware, utensils, linens, books, games, puzzles, and many '70s music CDs to discover, you'll really dig her vibe. GUEST ACCESS Guests have a gated private double entrance/exit driveway. The entire guest area is fenced/gated, guests have access to the lower property where the ponies are, seating on the bridge for a. m. coffee or p. m. libation. Beware though - the ponies may come begging for a sip. If you do enter the lower property to hang out with the ponies or check out our mini farm, PLEASE REMEMBER TO 1) close the gate behind you, 2) make sure the kids and pets are always under your direct supervision. HOST INTERACTION WITH GUESTS We live in the house on the property, but unless you need us for something you won’t see us at all, and we won't disrupt your stay. You may see us coming and going, feeding the ponies, doing yard work, etc., but we like our space and quiet living, so we won't invade your portion of the property during your stay. We're just a text away. OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE We're just off a 2-lane country road that the local folks use as a cut-through during the morning and evening rush hours, so traffic can pick up a little then, but it quickly settles to typical country road traffic for much of the time, ebbing off to intermittent during the evening and overnight.

Weekend Trip to Starlight Hills

We had a lot of fun! I’m not a camper but my boyfriend is so I booked a camping trip that felt like the best of both worlds for his birthday! It was as close to real camping with a touch of glamping as you can get! I do wish the string lights were still up at the campsite! We were in MTG 5 and it was nice and secluded since our family also rented the little cabin next to us! Would highly recommend visiting :) we will be returning for a few days soon since we know we like it! Host is also great and has great communication!

1 night at Starlight Hills

I loved it. Luna Dome was the most expensive site $250/night. No bathroom or water but you can’t beat the view. You still have to use bath house which is down at the entrance so it’s a nice walk or short all terrain drive. Bed was comfy and Bluetooth capability was a nice modern touch. My only complaints are: the campground is near a main mountain road. Not a great deal of traffic but you can definitely hear the semis engine braking at night. And the dogs (wild?) barking somewhere in the valley till the middle of the night was a little disturbing. But the view supersedes all of that. Try it for yourself!

Weekend Trip to Adin`s river cabin

Adin’s river side cabin is a solitude paradise if that’s what you’re in need of! Or a family trip of great memories! The area is secluded and private with plenty of room to spread out! I wanted to get away and soak in the cool river before the heat of the summer sets in! And this was absolutely perfect. The indoor bathroom is the smallest shower I’ve ever seen in my life, but like Adin says sailor shower! It gets the job done. There is an outhouse that did not appear to be in use and has space in the back for an outdoor shower that I would totally utilize if I go again, just for the convenience and privacy it offers! The river access is just incomparable for the price. Hurricane Helene did make the beach area and cliff a little more perilous than original. But Adin has made a deck and a roped walkway where you can tube, soak or just sit and enjoy. And it has steps also into the water. The multi level decks offer the most peaceful views. Top deck for sunning, 2nd for morning coffee or lunch, 3rd for the bbq dinner, and a swing on the bottom that I used a lot!! Once even to wait out a rain shower before getting back in the river! The VHS collection is amazing and really makes you feel like its an unplugged vacation! Close to parks and falls and great views! Adin even had a suggestion for a local lady who could give me directions to a different local spot! I could have stayed a week or more! The 2nd deck even has a removable doggy door to keep the pups from running! Perfect!

The yard games were fun and they have a great outdoor space. The Dice House was one of the most unique places I’ve stayed. Fun game room inside as well! Quite the experience for my family of 4!

It was a great site and was well equipped for a sunset glamping experience. We ended up with lots of rain unfortunately and no sunset but the tent was totally waterproof and we stayed dry while sleeping! There was also a mini fan that helped with the humidity. We loved the fairy lights around the site and it was right next to the overlook with usable grills!

What a great camp site! Even in the rainy weather we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the LunaView Dome! The site has fabulous amenities and we loved being able to have our own little fire pit nearby. Hope to return someday!

We had a great stay! It actually feels a little magical. Outside you are camping and sitting around the campfire, but inside the tent is like a hotel room with all the luxuries. Would definitely stay again!

Loved staying in the Luna View Dome with my husband and Bernese Mtn Dog, Luna. It was quiet, secluded, easy to find, spacious, and well set up. The bed was comfortable and we definitely appreciated all of the fans to cool the space down by the time we got to bed. Was so nice talking to William when he stopped by and our dog loved him. Would definitely stay there again.

2 nights at Silvia, the '72 Airstream

I loved everything about this stay. This was my first time in an Airstream and we could not have been more comfortable. The host has went out of her way to provide an awesome experience. I found this location was convenient to both Table Rock State Park and Greenville. We loved the ponies and enjoyed grilling out after a long day of hiking. Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It is very close to a road, but I was not bothered by the traffic at all. My 15 year old son and I usually tent camp for spring break, but this was our most memorable and relaxing trip. Thank you for allowing us to stay. I hope to bring my wife back for a fall trip.

Me and my family absolutely loved it. The only advice I would push out to everyone is don’t go when It’s too hot or too cold because there’s only fans and the heat only heats up so much of the room they’re also no outlets, but they were very accommodating and anytime I had questions the host responded right away., Would absolutely recommend it!

Beautiful location for camping! Our day was unfortunately hot, and the yurt was a furnace when I first arrived. That is about the only downside. Otherwise a great, unique experience with stunning star gazing! William was also very easy to communicate with and prompt in responding to my questions. Would love to come back during the cooler months 😅
