The Sabana River, one of many that originate from El Yunque National Rainforest, the river goes through the property. All the campsites are close by the river with each having their own access and individual fire pits. PR has 3 and one of those is just minutes away to experience! You'll get to the shack house by a dirty and bumpy road, 32 steps up stairs, must be in shape! Also you can anchor your boat almost in front of the property (there is no dock for boats there, but you may dock your dingy while visiting Parguera Village, advanced notification has to be made for arrangement.) Birds, lizzards, manatees, starfishes, stingrays, dolphins, brilliant stars night and breathtaking blue skies, don't say about our sunsets and sunrises! Amazing cays are another natural atractions, ask for Mata La Gata sea pool area. Water in front of the house isn't suitable for swimming if you are not related to waters surrounded by mangroves but you may visit Parguera sea sighting by your boat, by in site boat rental at Parguera, parasailing, diving and many other tours... By car there are plenty of different kind of beaches at nearby towns. There are safe trails to explore. You may search for Parguera, PR, to take a glance of what you are missing! Puerto Rico, as a whole is 100 x 35 square miles, is a tropical island with a variety of unimaginable places so get ready for adventure! USA citizens don't need passport, a valid real id is all you need! What are you waiting for?

What an awe-inspiring, beautiful and grounding experience in Utuado. Our stay at TJ Ranch was more than we hoped for and exceeded our expectations. Tina's warmth, hospitality and farm-to-table meals left us feeling taken care of in a way that moved us to extend our stay an additional night. The cabins were clean and well-kept. The land was a unique perspective of the mountains and the stargazing was phenomenal. Our kids enjoyed the pool and especially the animals. Tina and her family took the time to show them their daily farm routine and maintenance. Be prepared for a windy, uphill drive to get there, but it's totally worth it! We would recommend this gem to anyone looking for a unique, off-the-beaten path place to unwind in Puerto Rico! We certainly look forward to returning in the future!

We chose this campsite for our daughter’s 11th birthday. We had a great glamping experience with absolutely stunning views! It was truly a peaceful and scenic escape. The hike to the stream was beautiful but definitely challenging due to recent rain; the trail was muddy and SUPER slippery, so come prepared with proper footwear. The campsites are near a little drop off, so it’s best to only take big kids. The host was incredibly responsive, kind, and provided detailed information that made our stay smooth and stress-free. Overall, a memorable adventure that we will cherish forever!

I was lucky to have the campground to myself the whole evening. As a solo traveler I was a little apprehensive at first, but everything was so well organized and communicated. I was able to speak to Adam on the phone, he sounds like an awesome dude who truly looks after guests! Sunset and sunrise were gorgeous, and the sound of the frogs, while yes very intense at first (right by my head outside the tent!) it ends up quieting thruout the night. I saw a few posts about people saying the tents looked nothing like the pictures and wasn’t sure what quality to expect. They are only a different color 😂 still just as good! The road up is a tight one, just hug the edge and slow down. Great spot! And the stream was amazing!

Weekend Trip to Finca Remedio Permaculture Farm

Alexa and Naldo have created such a magical experience, staying here was the highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico! We stayed in the cob house, which is a work of art and an inspiration in sustainability. Loved how everything was completely off grid, but never felt like it lacked any common necessities. The composting toilet with the live-in chicken was constant entertainment for my 6 year old daughter. The "hike" down to the serene river swimming hole is not to be missed. Definitely recommend sampling the chocolate as well. We really hope to make it back here someday!

Amazing place to camp near El Yunque! Very quiet and peaceful next to a beautiful stream that led all the way to a water hole we could swim in. Host was super helpful and informative, bathrooms were super clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Really beautiful land and very nice set up! We “glamped” in the tent/bed set up and found it very comfortable. We appreciated the fan provided to keep us cool at night. The bathroom and shower were very nice as well! We really enjoyed the jungle walk on the property (but know it’s not for the faint of heart. Very difficult both up and down but WOW so worth it!!) I would recommend arriving in the daylight hours - even with very amazing directions from the host it was difficult to navigate in the dark. Plus, you need to be prepared for an intense drive to the site. Roads are narrow (to the point that you feel it should be a one way but cars will certainly be coming from the opposite direction), curvy, mountainous and a bit pot-holey. This is how a lot of the roads we traveled in Puerto Rico were so just be aware!! We chose to not use the kitchen facility and personally wouldn’t recommend relying solely on that as a means for your meals. Another recommendation is to bring ear plugs! It is SO COOL being immersed in the rainforest but you can’t comprehend how loud of the Coqui (frogs) are & they have a high pitched cry that can easily keep ya up at night. Overall, great and unique experience while in PR!

This place is amazing. Honestly, it's one of the best places we've ever stayed. It is right over the ocean, has everything you need to cook, and is just so incredibly relaxing. Sitting in the breeze and looking out over the water is heaven. We also rented the house kayak and went over to a nearby cay and snorkeled. It's also possible to kayak around the corner to the La Parguera bio bay. So cool! We would stay here again without hesitation and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Beautiful! We all thoroughly enjoyed our Lakeview glamping experience! The tent was perfectly set up for two adults and two teenagers. The beds were comfortable. The View outstanding! The kitchen was perfectly practical even with all the leaks, as it rained HEAVILY every afternoon. HOT showers. Lovely walk to the stream and waterfalls. A MUST do adventure! We were sad to find the firewood punky and soggy. All in all a fabulous experience.

Adam’s place was absolutely mesmerizing! The views took my breath away. We had the entire glamping site to ourselves and enjoyed the shower and clean campsite. We walked the trail down to the water which was an adventure in itself. Highly recommend ordering dinner to be brought to you. My kids, husband and I loved sitting out by the fire looking down the beautiful mountain eating some of the most delicious authentic Puerto Rican food. Could not recommend this place enough.
