Learn more about this land: We have 125 acre farm ranch that is waterfront on brownlee reservoir. We have 5 different camping vacations options. 1 cabin to rent. 1 camp trailer on a nice waterfront lot as well as 3 camp sports 1 with water and power hook ups (site. 2 water wheel) and 2 dry camp spots. we have a spot to launch boats which is right between sight 3 and 4. Good fishing. Very little boat traffic. Very private. In the fall big horn sheep frequently rut on the property. We usually have fresh eggs on hand. Dry climate. Sage brush and juniper trees here. We have an easy to access spot to fill up water to your camp trailers or rvs. The water is from a spring and Water tastes really good. We just added a 24ft pontoon boat for rent. This area has a lot of history. Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe often stayed in this area and on the property. In fact this was where his tribe met to discuss and decide to try to go to escape to Canada. This is where that journey started. You can still find arrow heads on the shoreline every so often. I’m ruffly 15 miles north of Huntington oregon. 13 miles of which is dirt road. The property sits at the base of lookout mountain. Really good cell service here with Verizon Full bars. If you decide to come camp make sure your directions take you through Huntington. Google sometimes likes to try to get people to drive over the mountain. Or if your coming from the north it sometimes wants you to go through Richland and then on 34 miles of dirt road. Going Through Huntington onto snake river rd is the easy way to go.

Heavily forested mountain property way off the grid in the Elkhorn Mts and borders National Forest. Enjoy hiking, biking, climbing, hammocking, watching wild animals, star gazing, etc. Sorry, no sounds of the city. Host will send you driving directions that need to be printed. There is a short hike (4 to 5 minutes) to each camp site from the Common Parking area, so I suggest packing as lightly as possible. Feel free to use the supplied cart to carry your gear. Campers have also enjoyed kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, hiking, and the mountain biking trails at Phillips Lake, which is a little over eight miles from TT. For trails, visit Trailforks.com and search Phillips Lake. Trails range from Easy to Black Diamond. This area used to have train tracks nearby, thus the road name Old Trestle Lane. Legend has it that "there's gold in them there hills". Visit nearby gold mining town, Sumpter (about 45 minute drive), while you're here. Weekend Trip to Waterfront cabin and camping

This was absolutely breathtaking!! The long dirt road was an exciting adventure and the hosts met us when we arrived. Such a cute rustic cabin overlooking the river where you can walk and check out the area. They introduced us to the farm animals, which was such a delight. Purchased fresh ingredients from them for our breakfast and it was delicious! Lovely family and we definitely recommend! Thank you again for everything, until next time!

2 nights at Towering Tamaracks

This was a great spot! My husband and I stayed here as a pit stop on our way to Washington and we're so happy we did! The weather was perfect for us and nobody else was camping around, so it was so nice and quiet and peaceful. The directions that Matt recommended we print out made it easy to find, as well. From the communal space, the hike to TT4 only took us 2 mins, but we're avid hikers from Colorado so it was easy peasy. The drive up was also not bad; less than a handful of spots with some dips/bumps/gravel patches that should be easy to navigate even if you don't have high clearance (but if you've ever driven trails in the Rocky Mountains, then this should be a breeze for ya lol). There were even gallons of water and a shovel waiting for us at the campsite, though there were fire restrictions while we were there. All around great spot to spend some time at while passing through!

Beautiful place to get away. We actually were visiting home state, decided to try their farm. Hosts were very polite and helped us with any needs. Baked bread was a plus, we ate it with our travels on motorcycles. Recommend A+ folks!!

So so beautiful- definitely worth the drive. Check your email for instructions, Matt is pretty on top of the communications. Highly recommend printing out the map/instructions, makes for a quicker, safer journey. Overall, great experience!

I picked this place on a recent trip because the location was convenient and it was cheap. The people here were nice and gave me a better spot with shade because it was a warm day when I stayed there. It was good enough for what I needed that day. Would probably stay here again if I was passing through.
