This trailer was produced by Spartan Aircraft Company in Tulsa, OK. Owned by oil tycoon, J. Paul Getty, the factory switched from making airplanes to making trailers shortly after World War II, using the same aluminum and manufacturing process used for the airplanes -- making these some of the finest trailers ever produced. On our property we also have a 1957 Spartan Mansion, a 1955 Spartan Mansion, a 1953 Spartanette, a 1960 Airstream, a 1969 Airstream, a 1963 Avion, and a 1965 Streamline -- all unrestored and in various stages of disrepair. 3 nights at Tin Can Acres
Tin Can Acres was absolutely perfect. We spent three nights and enjoyed every single second! We took advantage of the fire pit and had a fire one evening, we cooked our meals in the kitchen and found everything we needed. I even took a relaxing hot bath one night as it stormed outside - it was heaven! We borrowed a few records and listened to them throughout our stay. This place is pure magic! We will be back.
