A small homestead on the bank of Abbotts Creek near where it feeds into High Rock Lake. Peace and solitude , but close to the amenities of town. Less than a five minute drive to the grocery store, and less than a fifteen minute drive to uptown Lexington. Public access for kayaks is less than half a mile away. And the view is unbelievable!
We have a corn hole board and bags now available for use, as well as a few other yard games. Please let us know if you are interested in using them.
The edible landscape is available for you to enjoy. A list of current available items is posted in our greenhouse, as well as baskets for picking and foraging.

The Saxapahaw Country Club is a beautiful 31-acre working farm and event space. Guests are welcome to wander the fields, relax in the hammocks, fish the stocked pond, or enjoy the giant swing suspended from the branches of our 200-year-old white oak tree.
The Country Club is an ideal spot for a quiet evening under the stars, a peaceful retreat after shows at the Haw River Ballroom, or a basecamp for exploring the river, shops, and restaurants of Saxapahaw. Chapel Hill, Mebane, Hillsborough, and Pittsboro are all just a short drive away.
In addition to camping, we host weddings, reunions, retreats, corporate functions, and other private events, as well as public gatherings throughout the year. As a membership club, we offer members special perks along with opportunities to connect, socialize, and enjoy the "country-club" lifestyle. On arrival you'll come down our curvy driveway through the trees, and see our event barn on the left. To the barn's left side is a communal space for campers to enjoy with a great view. This area has a wood-fired grill and farm table, with a handwashing station out front. The shared outhouse/composting toilet is next to the pine stand with a white roof.
We have sheep, pigs and a donkey rotating through pastures behind electric fencing. Take a walk to say hello, but don't touch the fence! We also have 3 very friendly farm cats.
Pork and lamb from our farm (as well as kiln-dried firewood) is available for purchase at our farm store.

My stay at this property was truly wonderful. The space is beautiful and thoughtfully crafted, with so many touches that make it feel special. Sitting on the swing overlooking the tall trees, relaxing in the hammock, and taking a cold outdoor shower made the whole experience feel grounding and restorative. It was the perfect reset during my road trip. Natellie is a fantastic host and communicated clearly throughout my stay.

Had such a great getaway at this site. The cabin was amazing, everything you could need. So much care and attention was appreciated. You don't need to bring anything other than some clothes and a few groceries.
The views were beautiful and the weather was great.
The bed was so comfy, I slept like a baby even with Jack hee hawing. 😄

This camp spot is so beautiful! The property has lots to explore, the cabin comes with everything you need so you can pack light. You can tell how much care and thoughtfulness has gone into this space. We loved meeting all the animals! The only downside is it’s close to a main road/highway so you easily hear the traffic. However, if you’re looking for somewhere close to restaurants, shopping, etc, this is perfect because you feel secluded enough but are minutes away from all of that. The owners were so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!

One of our favorite Hipcamps to-date! Only a one-night stay, but everything was PERFECT! Listing is exactly as pictured. Cute tiny home with comfortable bed and electricity was a plus (even provided a space heater for chilly nights). Bathroom was spotless and had an amazing shower. Felt very private, despite other campers being on the property. Host was friendly and proactive about providing all the information we needed for our stay. Highly recommend this spot; would gladly stay again (and hopefully longer next time!).

(Jack the donkey is awesome) The cabin is cozy, spotless, and full of character with handcraft the details. The hosts are incredibly sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. Beautiful spot! This was our first time in the area, and we stayed overnight in the cabin. We loved it—if you’re looking for a peaceful, serene place to relax, this is it. The cabin has a simple aesthetic, very comfortable, and has gorgeous views of the property. Wes was a great host and immediately responded to anything we needed. We wish we could have stayed longer, but will definitely be back again soon!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this glamping site and couldn't have asked for a better experience! The space was incredibly clean and cosy, offering the perfect blend of comfort and nature that our dogs thoroughly enjoyed exploring. One of the highlights was definitely the company of the friendly resident cats, who made the atmosphere feel even more welcoming. The amenities were top-notch, but what really set this place apart was the flexibility; being able to add guests allowed me to host a birthday brunch for my girlfriend that turned out perfectly. With 10/10 weather and a 10/10 location, it was a flawless getaway that we won't soon forget.

Beautiful property with variety of farm animals and endless relaxation at your fingertips! The cabin is not too far from the host’s home but feels secluded at the same time. They offer as much privacy as you would like while also being readily available to assist. Amazing garden with herbs and nuts to share! They even came out one evening to introduce us to their baby ducks and chickens. Outhouse is clean and well stocked. Absolutely loved cooking on the old stove! Highly recommend this spot! Camp site also looked amazing :)
