Forever Southern Hideaway

On the end of a dead end road you will find yourself surrounded by woods and 15 acres of land that backs up to farm land here you will find deer and turkey so if you like hunting there’s a spot in the lower field at an additional cost where you can hunt. A creek runs through our property and we have two cattle gates for crossing bring your bikes and four wheelers and ride the trails in the woods we have a campsite where you can easily set up three tents. RVs are welcome but at this time we don’t have hookups but plan to have in the near future. Our property has well water so a place to fill your tank but not constant hookups at this time. Come surround yourself with nature we are a 35 min drive to lowes motor speedway, Great Wolf Lodge and concord mills outlet mall (Bass Pro Shop), 10 min drive to Patterson Farm and Lazy Five ranch. 45 minutes to Charlotte Douglas International Airport, the National White Water Center, Carrowinds and Discovery Place so much to do any given day!

Welcome! This primitive Tent/RV site offers: 2-Private Acres + FREE Firewood + 8-foot Industrial Picnic Table + Little Tikes Picnic Table + Commercial-Grade Port-A-Potty + Large Garbage Can + 5-Gallon Bucket + Adirondack/Sitting Chairs + Pet Friendly! 

Solo travelers, families, and romantic getaway travelers: This is a very private and safe place to camp! Because we only have 1 site, you will be alone in the space the entire time. My family lives on the premises so we are here in case of an emergency.

My daughter and I own this 35 acre secluded piece of heaven just minutes from Winston-Salem, Hanging Rock State Park, and other attractions. We are pet friendly (if your pet does not play well with our dog or horses, please leave them on a leash or at home). Our Shire horses are endangered and very BIG! We hope you have time to say hello to the horses during your visit.

The Uwharrie Hideout

Reopening January 1, 2024 for guests. We appreciate your patience while making improvements and plan to reopen as soon as the hunting season ends.  Enjoy some outdoors time while staying close. This is our story , well I have this land its 6.43 acres . This is how it all started there was a hippie fest going on in town and it was posted on social media . Someone posted they were looking for a place to camp but they didnt have camping at the fairgrounds where the event was . So I messaged this person and said I have a big yard maybe they could camp here but I have no facilities water toilet etc. We spoke and the gentleman said he would like to do that him and his group . I have never done anything like this  they paid me to stay ,but before I knew it I had 32 people coming here 2 pop up campers a 30 ft pull behind and 12 tents WOW . So of course I had to get the porta toilet thats how it ended up down there . The weather was threatening us so some people cancelled but in all we ended up with 16 people here it was a fun time for all . Thats when I decided to join hipcamp now we are on our hipcamp journey . My fiance Henry built a shelter and  a rain barrel water isnt drinkable , as time goes on we will be cleaning out more of the land for more camp sites . Hope y'all come visit . UPDATES !!! We have added Glamping to the site a 30 ft 2021 Coleman Camper , This will be a separate listing  but its here !!!

The Oasis at Harmon Creek Farms



Update: Our new BATHHOUSE now has a functioning flush toilet and Sink!!🛖 Pictures are coming soon, but it will also house a shower (with hot water!) and a dressing area, and is centrally located in front of the office at the pond. We're doing this to prove WE LOVE OUR CAMPERS! ❤

FULL HOOK UPS AND MORE!!!!

We are now also offering our full hookup site with arbor on the pond that includes: breakfast (eggs, sausage/bacon), lunch (hamburgers, fresh garden veggies), 2 bundles firewood, farm tour for 2, fire pit, and grill. All for only $65. per night. Message for booking details, as this is not yet available through Hipcamp.

In addition, two new nicely wooded sites with pond view are now available to provide easy access even during periods of heavy rain. If the creek area floods, we will move your reservation there. :)🏕

Pitch your tent, van or popup on or near the bank of our creek or pond with lots of shade and complete privacy. You can drive right up to most sites, weather permitting. You will have access to a fire ring and picnic table (located at each site), firewood for sale on site (please do not bring firewood from off-site),  clean drinking water (located near the pond), the creek to explore, our pond to fish, and wooded trails to hike. Once roamed by Native Americans and now farmed by the same family for over 6 generations, Harmon Creek Farm is a working farm of over 150+ acres. Peace, quiet, tranquility and privacy are overflowing along the creek, and hiking throughout the hills on the backside of the farm (and on the other side of the creek) leads to interesting and abundant flora and fauna. The stocked, spring fed pond is 'brimming" with angler challenges🎣 

  Our cows, pigs, sheep, donkeys, chickens, ducks, quail, and geese are all eager to meet you, as are we! We currently have fresh eggs, pork and beef for sale on site as well as cured and smoked bacon. We also have fresh organically raised vegetables and herbs in season (currently kohlrabi, asparagus, romaine, cabbage, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, rosemary, chives, and more! The Sacred Path

This land was purchased by my parents over 55 years ago. At the time is was a 48 acre farm. It belonged to a bootlegger. I was just seven years old when we came to live here on the "farm" as I have called it all my life. It was loved by family until my fathers' passing 5 years ago. My husband Terry and I came back to the farm to be with my father in his final years. Terry and I have continued  loving and caring for the land. This property backs to a 200 acre nature reserve and 600 acres of natural forest. It has a 30 foot creekside overlook and a beachfront at the creek. The is lots of nature to be heard and seen. We have resident foxes, a blue heron that frequents the pond, egrets, kingfisher, a bobcat, raccoons, crows, birds, fireflies, and (bear were seen last fall). It is beautiful land with rolling hills and horses grazing in the pastures.Learn more about this land:Come and pitch your tent in our park like setting by the pond and springs. You will feel the sacred breeze kiss your face and you will be re-energized, your energy restored and re-charged. This is a very special and sacred ground, if you allow it, you will feel the energy shift the moment you step foot onto the grounds. we welcome you to come stay, relax and visit or just retreat into meditation.
