It is situated at the east end of a 20 acre horse boarding stable.  This is a quiet setting in southern New Mexico just one mile off McNutt Rd on a dirt road.

COMPOSTING TOILET DIRECTIONS
This composting toilet &nbsp;works by automatically separating liquids from solids . Just follow the directions below. 
	
Men please sit for every use.
    1. Lift seat to place a filter   over the opening to catch solids. Toilet paper is disposed of in the toilet. 
The lever on the side can be opened to allow solids to pass through into the lower half, and closed again to hide the contents. 

    2. After use turn the lever on the side (       ) to open solids container.

    3. When finished close the opening in the bowl.  Then, turn the handle on the   (       )  side to mix solids and  peat moss. Shut lid and leave.  NO FLUSHING IS NEEDED.

The only things that should go into your composting toilet are your poos and pees and toilet paper. 

PLEASE PUT FEMININE PRODUCTS AND OTHER WASTE IN THE TRASH.

New to Hipcamp, but want to share my beautiful property with others.  Located on the bank of the Rio Grande River with access to the river at all times.  Property is rustic now, but improvements will continue to be made as time goes on.  Come help me develop this beautiful location into the best Hipcamp in New Mexico.   

Just 14 miles of the Chile Capital of the World, Hatch, NM, come during chile harvest to take home fresh green chile right out of the field.  

21 miles from Las Cruces, where you will find plenty of events and entertainment, should you so desire.  Spaceport, America, T or C, White Sands are all within a day's drive, and Fort Selden is just a few miles down the road, as is Blue Moon Bar and Grill.

My dad first came to this property as a farm hand for the elderly couple who owned it.  This was in the 1930's.  He met my mother, who lived 6 miles down the road, in 1939.  She was just 14.  Every Sunday he would ride those 6 miles to have supper with her and her family and in 1940, 2 weeks after her 16th birthday, they married.  They traveled around before coming back here, buying a small portion of this farm from the elderly owners and farming the rest for them, but in 1953, the man died (his name was Ernest Ward) in the small concrete house I now use for storage, that my dad had built for he and his wife when he first came to work for them.  My parents built a home for his widow in Hatch (14 miles) and bought the farm from her.  My family has owned it since.  I was gone for 31 years, but returned to the land and place I love and plan to stay here till I die!

Organ Mountain Views

Rugged, natural desert snuggled up against the Organ Mountains. Private & quiet with beautiful views. No amenities! No toilet, water or electricity. Paved road (County road D-087) access just 1 mile  north of US-70 and Organ, NM. Property is 10 miles east of Las Cruces, NM & 45 miles west of White Sands National Monument. Great Thai restaurant (Renoo’s) in Organ as well as a US Post Office. Anything else you might need is available with a short drive to Las Cruces. Please, no fires & no shooting of firearms on the property. 

MOUNTAIN VIEW CAMPING

Mountain View Sunsets is a beautiful, secluded, and quiet property offering peaceful walks and horseback riding. 

The land spans 500 acres, and the campsites are “choose your own adventure.” We provide a porta-potty, but you need to pack in everything you need and pack out all trash. Fires are allowed only in the designated fire rings—please do not create new ones. There are a total of four sites to choose from.

This is wild land—there are coyotes, lizards, snakes, birds, bugs, and other insects. Please watch your step and keep an eye on your pets.

Cooks Canyon, There are so many things to explore here, old abandon mines, and the famous Fort Cummings used in the 1800s to protect from Indian raids. And water falls etc.
Bill Evans Lake Sits about 80 Miles NW of Deming it is home of the biggest bass ever caught at 15 ls 13 oz and 26.5 inches long.
The property and surrounding views, Mito Road, Caminto Road, Solindo Road and El Ensueno Road are all decent bladed Roads. They sit just south of El Bordo Road, the main drag off Franklyn Road and there is a cable box along El Bordo.
Take NM 549 to Franklyn Road. Head south 2.5 miles to El Bordo Rd then head East 1.5 miles to Mito Road. USE THE GPS.
The property located in Luna County about 45 minutes from West of  Las Cruces NM, it's a rural countryside setting off Franklyn Rd about 20 minutes SE of Deming.
I suggest you bring a dedicated GPS like a Garman and more reliable then your phone. Be smart print out map, bring a shovel, water, food blankets, mace, a dog and anything else you might need if you get stuck for a day or two.

Welcome to my desert oasis just outside of Las Cruces, New mexico & walking distance to Leasburg State Park. I look forward to hosting you and your party. This is a nice landscape property with several amenities to enjoy. I encourage guests to take advantage of the features. We've got a full-size bocce ball court, walking paths, hot tub, fountain seating area, outdoor fire place, propane barbeque, laundry facilities, pergola patio, grass area for guests and their pets to enjoy during their stay. I'm a new host and live here myself, although I often travel so occasionally guests  RV may have the desert oasis all to themselves.

1972 Winnebago Convert to Tiny Home

Learn more about this land:Relax and be inspired during your stay in the renovated Winnebago&nbsp;at, The Western Star.&nbsp;This is a quaint, cozy space&nbsp;designed and decorated&nbsp;with a mix of natural materials,&nbsp;old desert wood and old&nbsp;metal&nbsp;found on the property or nearby. There are 2 beds (full and a twin), 10 ft sloped ceiling, sink with cold running water- no hot water, flushing toilet, mini-refrigerator, electric 2 burner stove,&nbsp;toaster oven, heater, plates, forks, cups, cookware&nbsp;and electricity. There are curtains and sun blockers for privacy. When you wake up in the morning you will watch the sun rise over Turtleback Mountain. 1 block away is the Rio Grande and Rotary Park. It's 4 blocks to the main.&nbsp;Located in the downtown area and&nbsp;hot springs district, the property has a well that draws out the hot springs at about 98 degrees and pours it in to an outdoor tub- perfect for a warm winter day or summer evenings. Wake up in the morning, walk down to the river and you'll see heron, coots, osprey, sandhill crane, red wing black birds, and so many more wildlife. There is a care taker for the property who lives there and may be another guest as well. The property is 1/2 a city block. Your living quarters are private but the land is shared space.&nbsp;I'm available to engage if desired and I respect your privacy.&nbsp;The property is 6 city lots large and you will have access to 4 of them.&nbsp;Dogs are allowed for an additional fee.&nbsp;You must be responsible to&nbsp;clean up after them and they must be friendly with strangers.&nbsp;

We are located smack in the middle of desert in Chaparral, NM. We have two short term rentals on the property. The Desert Dome and Harvey the Skoolie. Both are unique stays. We love to show people the beauty the desert has to offer. We also live on site and are around to answer any questions or help you out. 

We want all of our guests to be able to enjoy their stay and have as much privacy as possible. Both stays have a fire pit and their own hang out area. 

There are farm animals on the property! Your fur babies are welcome, we only ask you keep them leashed at all time.
