We are excited to share our little A-frame cabin in the woods! The cabin is quite rustic ( and quite cute). Think of it like glamping -- outhouse, wood burning stove, dirt roads, and beautiful trees and mountains included. ** To keep the cabin affordable, all guests are responsible for cleaning up the cabin at the end of the stay and making it ready for the next guest. There are no cleaners coming in after you. ** The cabin is a 432 square foot A-frame in a small mountain community, which is surrounded by the Jemez National Forest. IMPORTANT: We are up 1.3 miles of dirt road (with 5-7+% grade in a few short stretches) and are not near public transportation so you will need your own vehicle! Had a great night at Michaela’s spot. Felt very safe and comfortable on my own. She was very welcoming and friendly when I arrived and was nice enough to make me coffee in the morning before heading out. We chatted and got to know each other a bit which was lovely. So, if you are looking for a home away from home, this place may be for you. This is how I want to be living on a daily basis. We parked our car on the designated gravel spot. Walked the signed trail to a deck dedicated to yoga while a ping pong table is 5 feet away. Going along the path further you see a bunny hanging out in the brush while little birds fly bush to bush alongside you. Then you spot the entrance to the tree house. Directly behind it is your fully equipped kitchen with seating and all under a tin roof. Then a fire pit is on your way to the outdoor bathroom. Don't worry you cross a bridge and step over marked rocks like on an adventure. A hot water shower, relaxes you while the trees hang over with the blue sky peaking through. This place was paradise! Thank you for being so creative and well equipped for every possible situation! Top Notch!

A great retreat into the mountains. We hiked from the cabin and also drove to and hiked in Valles Caldera. Magical location. Beds were very comfortable. Cabin amenities were good. Just take care driving on the unpaved road up to the cabin. Stay center when possible to avoid ditches on the right.

This pleasant home in Albuquerque was a great place to stay! The bed was extremely comfortable and towels of linens were provided. I had a great morning conversation with other guests, while both hosts, Michaela and Ernesto, made coffee and tea for everyone. The hosts were both such respectful people, allowing everyone to make themselves at home. The use of the kitchen and laundry room was a real blessing. There is a delightful garden surrounding the home. I would stay in this location anytime I happen to be in the area.

Michaela's prompt communication gave us reassurance from the minute we requested a site, and Ernesto greeted us as if we were already friends. Their relaxing, peaceful home/Hipcamp was an unexpected oasis. One of the best Hipcamp experiences we've had.

1 night at Santa Fe Treehouse Camp & Wilderness Preserve

We loved this intentional and creative spot! The treehouse is roomy and all the beds were comfortable- my kids loved the hanging bunks. It was a fun change from all the tent camping we were doing on our road trip through New Mexico and we appreciated the bathhouse and kitchen spaces. It’s a beautiful and serene area and Ciana was wonderfully welcoming and helpful with getting us settled in. We definitely recommended the treehouse!

Weekend Trip to Jemez Mountains A-Frame Cabin

We had such an awesome stay at this cozy cabin!! It was very peaceful, private, and a perfect spot to unplug. Jen made everything simple and stress-free. The deck was our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening stargazing!! Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature.
