We had such a great time at camp brave n it! We had acres of beautiful wooded land with hiking trails right outside our door all to ourselves! Kennebunk was a short drive away, but we honestly spent more time just enjoying our site. We also came also a local brewery up the road called Funky Bow that I definitely recommend checking out! An amazing stay at a beautiful property! It was a little hard to find- when I clicked the directions option on the booking, it took me to two different places that were both incorrect. The address for the campground is 262 depot street, and the campground map is difficult to find- doesn’t seem to be on the Hipcamp site. Our friends booked the river run site so we were able to take over the whole area, and our dogs could run around and play which was great! Very private and secluded, though it might have felt too close if people at the adjoining site (river run) were strangers. We will definitely be back, so many cool and different options for lodging!!

Had a fantastic time! Kevin was very responsive to questions ahead of time, well maintained site and easy directions for locating it. Only flaw was the amount of noise coming from the motor speedway nearby. The location and views outweighed this minor annoyance since we just opted to put on a playlist to drown it out. The evenings around the campfire were filled with nature sounds and the babbling water. We’d stay here again! Kevin as a great host!

Wow, what a magical little Maine site! It rained while I was here, but that only made the fall colors pop even more. It is such a treat having lake access just steps away. I thoroughly enjoyed my night by the fire and exploring the Hallmark worthy towns on the way from Portland. Don't miss this spot or the gorgeous flower arrangements at the flower stand!

Great response time! Also very helpful in making sure we arrived at the correct site. Even showed us an in-the-works site to see if it fit our needs! The floor is very soft, so great for tenting. Loved the availability of kindle and firewood! The sites are a bit close; we thankfully booked when there was nobody else. Even though we had to leave earlier due to freezing weather, I would totally book again!

We stayed here for a second night on Priscilla’s land. The lookout was super cool. It rained throughout the night and we woke up to the sounds of water rushing down the stream. The property is absolutely gorgeous with amazing views of the mountains from anywhere you are. We stayed at River run tent site and LOVED it. The tenting, bathhouse and air bb sites are all so well maintained and cute. We loved that it was so spaced out between sites, making it feel private and more immersed in the beautiful NH mountains. Public beach available to guests that’s right on the river. The little reception cabin had anything you might need and availability to buy wood bundles at anytime. We will definitely be back!

We loved Baker's Rock. We booked Into the Woods for a weekend with a couple of friends and we had a wonderful time disconnecting from the world. Bathrooms and showers were close by and clean. I loved staying at Amanda’s campsite! It is absolutely lovely with a nice view of the little mountain nearby and the river. The fire pit is super nice and there are chairs provided, as well as a whole picnic table! It’s easy to get to and I liked that I could pull my car into the site for easy unloading. Amanda was wicked accommodating and helpful. We actually had to come back a different night due to a fire ban and we were super thankful Amanda was flexible and allowed us to change our reservation. 10/10 would recommend! Also, the bathroom was awesome. Super clean and the shower was warm!!! You can’t get better for a price like this.

Simply the best tenting you can find in the White Mountains. The campground to get away from campgrounds, where magic touches every corner. Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's top treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose. Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. A Frame to Rest In - a newer addition which is a tiny A-Frame structure close to, but separate, from the Fireplace site and shares a driveway. 3.) Easy Come Easy Go - right off 302 and has a circular gravel driveway easy for RV pull-in with a picnic table and fire ring. --------------------------------------------- Located in Bethlehem at the top of the White Mountains close to endless hiking and biking. Both downtown Bethlehem and Littleton are within a 15 minute drive, supplying many choices for food and shopping. Rainy and need more options? Take the beautiful 1 hour drive east on 302 to North Conway and visit the big outlet stores. If the weather is better, and you want a more scenic way there with hiking -- take the 25 minute drive down to Lincoln and travel the amazing Kancamangus Scenic Byway (Route 112). This is 35 miles through the White Mountains with no gas stations, so you might want to top off while in Lincoln. Thirty minutes east is the Mount Washington Cog Railway, and you will pass the historic Mount Washington Hotel on the way. Fifteen minutes south and you can be at Franconia Notch State Park.

Secluded in the wilderness, Boulder Brook Hipcamp has private tent sites right next to a babbling brook. The access road is a nice gravel .6 mile long road that is not maintained in the Winter. There is firewood for sale via Venmo right in the parking area, $6 per bundle. There is also a nice outhouse. There are 4 first come, first serve sites with tent platforms and fire pits. There is quick access to the Rockingham Recreational Trail, which is ideal for walking, mountain biking, and exploring. There is also a great swimming hole nearby called Chivers Pond. The campsites are located on the back corner of the Chivers Farm property and seasonal farm goods will be available for campers to purchase coming in 2025.

We are located on a private 36 acres of mostly woodland. We abut 100 acres of conservation land and another 100 acres of private woodlands. Park at the end of the dirt portion of Farley Rd and it is a short 5 minute hike to the campsites. There is a marsh and a creek on the property that support myriad wildlife. There are owls, loons, eagles, hawks, hermit thrushes, robins, turkeys, song birds and herons. There are deer, moose, bear(don't leave your food out!), chipmunks, squirrels, opossum, raccoons(don't leave your food out!), skunks, minks, otters and many other species in our neighborhood. We live at the end of a dead end road with very little traffic. No potable water provided, bring a filter and filter fresh water while you are here. Outhouse is completed and has a separate trail off of the white blaze trail. Just before the Quiet campsite there is a trail for the outhouse on the right. Thank you!

There is a beautiful hike to a mountain lookout view of an amazing panoramic of lakes and mountains including Mt Washington and Pleasant Ski mountain. From 5 Kezars rd turn right onto Kezars Ridge Drive, the last camp road before the pavement ends.) At 0.6 miles keep right onto 5 Kezar Ponds Road. Look for a GLLT sign on the right. This is the Mountain Trail. There is a second access 0.5 miles farther west on 5 Kezar Ponds Road for Ron’s Loop. Here is a link for all Lovell Land trust trails: https://www.gllt.org/five-kezars-reserve 2 Local waterfalls only 2 miles away. Drive back out to 5 Kezars road. Take a right on the paved road. It will turn back into dirt. Keep on this road until you see a beautiful stone house on your left. Keep going just up the hill and you will see a right turn into the woods where you can park. There are no signs for Kezar gorge. Hike towards the sound of the falls. There is a small cave under the falls you can climb up into if you are a strong swimmer. There is a second set of falls if you hike down the river. A most magical spot for sure. Virginia lake is in the White Mountain National forest and is only 6 miles (n a ten minute drive away) Sometimes you have to hike in a bit to get to the beach. Shallow beach is great for children and dogs. Keewayden Lake Dam is a fun place to swim in a local lake.
