This entry is to give you an overview of the farm and also in case you want to hold a laid-back, nature-oriented, special event at the FFF, where our mantra is, “nothing will be perfect, but everything will be fine.” So, if you are looking for artificial perfection, look elsewhere. This is camping, not Glamping! ---For any of the guest houses, bring your own linens or sleeping bags, or rent from us. ---The Blue Bedroom has a double bed in it, as does the Hippie Van. Both have either air conditioners or heaters as needed. ---The Big Yellow Bus has a queen bed and two sets of bunk beds in addition to a wood stove, air conditioner, small refrigerator, and a microwave. ---Braden's Brown Bus has a double bed and a futon, air conditioner, sink and a small refrigerator. ---The Hippie Van is a painted VW van with the seats removed and a double bed built in. AC and Heat are available. It’s just a crazy, fun time when we visit this place. The uniqueness of each structure, the honest, simplicity of it all is so very special. Our children & grandchildren were thrilled to get out & explore the beautiful, pastoral, Kansas countryside. The yellow school bus & pond are the true highlights for them. But the new treehouse & swing near the sandbox were also a hit. I enjoyed the expansive sky filled with stars, the outdoor shower & of course the quacking ducks as they slide down into their own personal kiddie pool. The hosts are generous & extremely accommodating & share wonderful stories…just like family. I’m sure we will be back a third time!

Super friendly owners and a beautiful farm with plenty of amenities and so many fun things to do! Swimming in the pond was great, the creek had so many cool fossils and we woke up to a ton of cows on the hillside which was so much fun for my son. Jock was such a sweet dog and my dog loved him a lot! Highly recommending staying here.

We (family of 4) were traveling from south LA to Badlands national park and needed a stop over that didn’t require setting up our tent. It was perfect. Wish we could’ve explored more but it lightly rained all night and while we packed back up in the morning. Bill was super sweet and helpful!! Jacques, their lab, is also super sweet! Safe and quiet. The white bus was just a little small however the mattresses were so comfy and so far on our road trip camping and even at an Airbnb they were the most comfortable. We got a great night of sleep!

If you're looking to stay on a farm this is the place! Our children loved all of the activities - multiple swings, trampoline, pond, creek, tree house, and looking at all of the animals. The buses could have been a little cleaner but they have AC so that's nice for the hot days.
