Gallogly Hot Springs, also known as Lost Trail Hot Springs since the 1970s, offers a unique retreat for travelers crossing the Continental Divide at Gibbons Pass. Nestled in a secluded area, this natural hot spring has served as a peaceful resting spot for those embarking on the challenging ascent of the old Indian trail, which climbs approximately 2,000 feet over just three miles. The history of Gallogly Hot Springs dates back to 1892 when a woman built a cabin to keep her invalid son close to the healing waters.
