This property has been a farm and ranch since 1863 it was used as a stage stop for travelers going to the gold fields in Bannock and Virginia City Montana. Come check us out.We offer two private campsites on the Gallatin River near Logan, Montana, 1/4 mile apart on a working farm and ranch. Ranch also is located below ATT and Verizon cell towers. Five minutes from entrance gate to interstate ninety. We are thirty minutes from Bozeman, six miles from Three Forks, MT, three miles from Headwaters State Park (Headwaters of the Missouri River), 12 minutes from the Copper City Mountain biking trails, 20 minutes from Lewis and Clark Caverns, eight miles from Madison Buffalo Jump. Yellowstone National Park is two hours south of the property. Easy full recreational access to the Gallatin River, including fishing if you follow Montana FWP rules and regulations. Gallatin River is a blue-ribbon trout stream and there are four additional blue-ribbon trout streams that are within close proximity. We loved the green tractor for pics! Waking up to the beautiful stream sounds was lovely. Holly is very communicative and helpful. The property is beautiful although I wasn’t sure where the property lines were so I hope I didn’t intrude on someone’s land. We missed the pigs though.

Awesome place with plenty of room, Roger was awesome! We stayed at site 1 which wasn’t directly on the river but it was a short trail to the river and you had your own private beach. I actually drove my truck down the trail and made it to the beach. 100% recommend.

This was an amazing camping experience. We were the only campers so had the whole grassy area to ourselves. It is right on the river and there are a few other public river access spots nearby so we checked out all of them. We biked up the mountain and around town as well — there is a school playground a block or two away that my kids (ages 4-9) liked. The spot is at the end of a small town (Melrose)—so not in the middle of nowhere, just FYI. The piggies were the best part! They’re such funny creatures and we enjoyed getting to know them. Holly is such a nice person and obviously cares about her guests and pets! Definitely recommend.

This spot was a good overnight location for us and provided a spectacular Montana sunset. We did have to drive about a mile on a dirt road, which was no problem for me, but a little concerning for my glamper husband:) You can hear trains passing by and the site is near a shooting range-not an issue after dark, but a little noisy during the daylight hours. Host was friendly and helpful.

We loved the spot. We called Roger when we were 15 min away so he could come lead us to a very private piece of the property. Right on the Gallatin River with a fire pit and all the space in the world. There was a Golden Eagle hanging out in a tree and a rattlesnake skin 10 ft from our RV. It's 30ish minutes from Bozeman and even less to the airport. We met Roger and his wife briefly. They we're very easy to communicate with and easily earn a 10/10. We'll be back!

This was an awesome spot to get away with the family. Holly was a great host and her property is top notch. Easy access to fishing and lots of activities, plus a great treat getting to visit the pigs. We had excellent cell service at the site and the town of Melrose had a few food options when cooking wasn't in the cardmla. Definitely recommend!!

This was great! I personally fly fish more than I should, and my wife is an animal lover! The best of both worlds! I’m surprised my wife didn’t try to steal a pig! Holly, the host, and her entire family were welcoming, friendly and fun to chat with! This spot is perfect! Highly recommend you stay in the Silo! As this is almost and exact half way point for a trip that we make often, we definitely will be coming back!

I had a great night camping on Holly’s land! The mountain views were gorgeous! I especially loved the tour of Holly’s pig farm - I learned so much, and the pigs were absolutely adorable. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe camping there. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Ah! I can't say enough good things about this spot. I only stayed for a night, but I wish it was longer. Beautiful sunsets, zen scenery, a large area to post-up / set-up camp in and close access to the river to dip your toes in... it doesn't get much better than that! Roger is super friendly and helpful upon arrival. It's a relatively quiet location with the occasional train (which added to the whole vibe, imo!) and I was able to reach the site with my little teardrop trailer with ease. Traveling alone, feeling safe is a priority, and I felt really good about it my entire stay. I will 100% opt to stay here again in the future when passing through Three Forks!

This was a lovely campsite! We stopped overnight on our cross country trip. Roger was a fantastic host - great communication, super friendly, and lead us to the site once we arrived. This site is peaceful beside the river with a nice little trail down to the river bank to explore. Lots of room to set up our camper. Would definitely stay again next time we’re out west!
