We're in rainbow subdivision. possibly Montana's oldest subdivision. We're on Lower Rainbow Road. In the summer we see some spectacular rainbows, many being double rainbows. Enjoy what this 1-bedroom modern range camp has to offer. Forced air gas heat, Indoor and outdoor kitchen, Two Queen beds, 3/4 bath. Clothes closet and drawers Pantry, Gas range and oven. convection oven and micro wave, Keurig coffee maker. Refrigerator/ freezer, Solo fire pit with Adirondak chairs, hard woods for cooking and softwoods for just gereral hanging around the camp fire, Treager smoker grill and a weber propane grill. If there are more than two people in this camp, it's a small space and you best be the courteous kind. This sheep camp is the real deal. It was made for people who work on the range. Cowboys, sheepherders and such. As such you will need to be a bit western in attitude to fully enjoy it. It is very efficient but a small space. It works fine as a place to stay especially for one or two people. The basic normal things are intuitive. But for using things like the outdoor kitchen, the range oven and awning you may need a quick lesson on how those work. We are happy to teach you. If you want the experience or ambience of using the woodstove then we absolutely require that we instruct you on how to use it first. Using it requires your attention. Before TV and other modern distractions, the fire was the center of our attention and social environment. Giving your stoves fire attention then was easy. It still requires your attention if you choose to use it here. You can't use the wood stove when it's warm out because it would get to hot in the camp. The fire pit is always allowed. This unique property provides guests with Wi-Fi, TV, Stereo an iron and ironing board, It has forced air gas heat for a comfortable stay. After your day of adventure, Take a soak in the hot springs, snuggle up in your nice comfortable bed and that's a very good day.

It provides a large walk in shower, vanity and sink, outlet and standard flush toilet.   Candles, oil lanterns, propane for the BBQ grill, campfire ring, camp chairs, wood stove, towels, hot springs & river towels, bedding, pots, pans, utensils, basic camp supplies are all included! There is a separate shack with an electrical outlet, toaster oven, electric coffee pot, percolator, a single electric burner for the cooking supplies. There are 3 other rentals on this property. Each cabin has 1 - 1.5 acres of private use and are generously spaced out.The Homestead cabin is bordered by Little Trail Creek and the house pasture. There are 5 horses on site.  Absorkee Wilderness is in the back yard with thousands of miles of hiking trails. This is a Glamping experience. There my be wildlife - including bears, elk, deer, bugs or field mice at anytime. We have tried to preserve the Homestead cabin as much as possible to its original state. The river isn't a real deep river, a lot of people use it to float on tubes, but it has been known to have some nice fish also. The area always gets afternoon wind gusts that happen daily and don't last long but something you'll want to be aware of. On site we have available for rent 2 tiny houses and 4 Rv hook up spots. Our property also has a yurt, an additional tiny house, a skoolie and a motorhome. Imagine yourself as an original Homesteader in this early 1900's cabin. But with modern convinces. 5 minutes from Gardiner, Montana - The North Entrance to Yellowstone & Yellowstone Hot Springs. We provide delicious well water! Little Trail Creek runs thru the property. There are two rooms in the cabin. Dining table, kitchen supply hutch & wood stove in the main room.Two queen beds, a small cot in the bedroom. There is one chandelier and 1 outlet in each room. There is one extra cabin with one queen bed available for an additional fee. It is 4 feet from the homestead. It is only available for use by guests of the homestead cabin, so it is private. There is a gorgeous new shower house built in 2023. It provides a large walk in shower, vanity and sink, outlet and standard flush toilet.   Candles, oil lanterns, propane for the BBQ grill, campfire ring, camp chairs, wood stove, towels, hot springs & river towels, bedding, pots, pans, utensils, basic camp supplies are all included! There is a separate shack with an electrical outlet, toaster oven, electric coffee pot, percolator, a single electric burner for the cooking supplies. There are 3 other rentals on this property. Each cabin has 1 - 1.5 acres of private use and are generously spaced out.The Homestead cabin is bordered by Little Trail Creek and the house pasture. There are 5 horses on site.  Absorkee Wilderness is in the back yard with thousands of miles of hiking trails. This is a Glamping experience. There my be wildlife - including bears, elk, deer, bugs or field mice at anytime. We have tried to preserve the Homestead cabin as much as possible to its original state. There are elk, deer, birds and other native wildlife on the property daily.

Our property is close to town but far enough out that you feel secluded. We have wonderful dark nights with amazing views of stars. There is a fishing access a mile down the road, or you can hike to the river which is approximately 1000 feet to the river. The river isn't a real deep river, a lot of people use it to float on tubes, but it has been known to have some nice fish also. The area always gets afternoon wind gusts that happen daily and don't last long but something you'll want to be aware of. On site we have available for rent 2 tiny houses and 4 Rv hook up spots. Our property also has a yurt, an additional tiny house, a skoolie and a motorhome. If you’re wanting to just get away to a beautiful spot, take a hike along the river, float the river or fish this is your place. It’s beautiful and quiet.

The ranch is located just outside of Livingston and offers beautiful open vistas of the Paradise Valley. The tan barn spot was big, flat and quiet and the owner offered us electricity, water, and a bathroom. All these were right by where we parked. All in all a great place to stay.

Well maintained campground with fantastic host and some of the swankiest camping showers and restrooms ive ever seen, seriously those ammenities were better than some hotels ive stayed at. 20 minutes from livingston and 45 minutes from yellowstone, hikes in the area. Had a wonderful time! Watch for deer when driving.

Weekend Trip to Osen's RV Park by Starry Night

A great RV park with good amenities, clean, quiet, reasonably priced, and a level site. John, the camp host, couldn't have been nicer. We were visiting Yellowstone National Park and the drive to the park from Livingston was longer than we would have liked - 63 miles. That's our fault for not checking distances. Osens has a fenced dog park which satisfied the "zoomies" of our two golden retrievers.

Weekend Trip to Jammin Jackalope Camping

I have such a great time at the V20 camp spot at Jammin Jackalope! I have stayed there several times (sometimes in a cabin) for concerts at Pine Creek Lodge. This is a relatively quiet spot after the show, more private than other spots. There is quite a bit of light coming from Pine Creek shining on this campsite which is probably good for security but might be a downside if you prefer complete darkness. Colter is super helpful and frequently goes out of his way to make sure your stay is optimal. Close to town, lots of river access in the area, hot springs, places to explore, etc. during the day before concert time!

This was our first time at Pine Creek Lodge, and we had the best time. The vibe is amazing – laid-back, welcoming, and full of good energy. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly nice and helpful. We arrived a bit early after a long drive and probably looked a little lost, but the staff didn’t miss a beat. They made us feel right at home right away. It’s the kind of place where you can instantly relax. Highly recommend – can’t wait to return!
