The Ponderosa

This property sits on a ridge line that ties into the Mission Mountains.  Very close to town but definitely in the wild.  Our views span the entire length of Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains.  A clear day shows the beautiful Glacier Park in the distance.

Mere's Magic Rainbow Trout Pond

Stay on an Old Trout Farm around the pond and listen to the water flow through the property. The property looks out to the Mission mountain range and campers can drive right to their spot. We have shaded tree spots and glamping with a community kitchen and outdoor shower. 

There is potable water fill up, wifi, and firewood upon request. Its best to show up for sunset (before dark). Plus, on way out you can bypass the 93 highway new road construction by taking crow road west past the iconic old barn and then get back on the 93 going North to Flathead lake or Glacier Nat'l Park.

The next-door neighbor's horse was super friendly!  It kept sticking its head over the fence looking for attention.

We are located exactly half way between Flathead Lake and Missoula. Wake up to the picturesque views of the Mission Mountains and visit the two stunning lakes that are within 5 min or take a short drive to the amazing wold class fishing near by. There is quick access to great hiking, camping, and bike riding as well. We are also able to accommodate horses. You can even take a scenic horseback ride basically from your front door. This historically rich community has so much to offer, so come take in the farm/ranch lifestyle and enjoy endless adventures and attractions. As a former Infection prevention specialist cleaning is a priority and held to high standards. Please ask about amenities for families traveling with small children. 

Camp Kapapa Old US Hwy 93

We are a family-oriented eco-friendly campsite located on the beautiful Flathead Lake of Elmo, Montana. With direct access to the lake and an hour's drive to Glacier National Park.

 Whether you are a family or only one person, we are here to make your stay at our campground an enjoyable one.

 Our campground is one of the last places along the shores of Flathead Lake that is pristine and undeveloped.

On the platform is a picnic table, personal grill and rocking chair.

We had a lovely dinner at the dining table with amazing view of the lake.

Site 3 has a wooden platform where you can set up your tent and pull your car up next to it. 

The firepit is huge and has plenty of seats for everyone. We decided not to have a fire, since it was pretty smoky during our visit. 

One of our favorite activities was reading in the hammock!

If you want to use the communal kitchen, you can pay a small gratuity and have access to the utensils.
