1 night at Yellowstone City Guest Ranch

Beautiful view of the mountains and a great little get away! The stream was wonderful to have access to and just to hear it in the background. Cabin was adorable and with close access to the Chico Hot Springs and their amenities. Definitely staying here again

4 nights at Cozy Cabin On 10 Acres!

The cozy cabin is very comfortable and warm to stay in and the vibe is very relaxing. It is set up for two people max and the bathroom door offers limited privacy, so couples that are comfortable with each other are best We were traveling with dogs and it was nice to be able to walk through the pasture to the Baker Creek where they could play. There is also a bootleg disc golf course in the public land across Amsterdam Road Also. The host and homeowner are quick to answer any questions And they were very helpful.

1 night at Yellowstone City Guest Ranch

We have stayed at all three of Josh’s cabins up historic Emigrant Gulch and it’s always been a good time. Nothing but beautiful trees, mountains and silence. The cabins are nice and always have plenty of firewood to keep you warm through the night (we have stayed up there twice now in the winter with temps below 20 degrees). The outdoor range is a plus and the compost toilets are sooo much better than a classic outhouse pit. Always a pleasure to stay in one of these cabins with this Looke’s Mill being the most spacious and family friendly. Josh and fam’s hospitality and quick communication is excellent.

NO DOGS! This is a working farm and we have dogs, sheep, goats as well as other animals. Adding yours into the mix of animals has proven to be more hassle than what it's worth. I've been at this for 16 years. Please ask questions before booking. Sneaking your dog(s) in doesn't work. We live on 40 acres of my husband's grandfather's original 160 acre homestead. We are the only ones still farming. They rest of the family have either sold off their land for big bucks or have built homes on it. We enjoy sharing our little piece of paradise in the Gallatin Valley.

Our property is close to town but far enough out that you feel secluded. We have wonderful dark nights with amazing views of stars. There is a fishing access a mile down the road, or you can hike to the river which is approximately 1000 feet to the river. The river isn't a real deep river, a lot of people use it to float on tubes, but it has been known to have some nice fish also. The area always gets afternoon wind gusts that happen daily and don't last long but something you'll want to be aware of. On site we have available for rent 2 tiny houses and 4 Rv hook up spots. Our property also has a yurt, an additional tiny house, a skoolie and a motorhome. If you’re wanting to just get away to a beautiful spot, take a hike along the river, float the river or fish this is your place. It’s beautiful and quiet.

Please see all photos before booking! You will have the entire cabin to yourself. The only thing you'll need to pack is some food and some clean underwear for after the drive! Once you make it, you'll be in a true Montana Paradise. Whether you're wanting to get a good look at the northern lights this is the best spot! No light pollution and more stars than you have ever seen! Or take your wife up for a special anniversary! Great place for hiking to hidden lakes with plenty of fishing and wildlife. After staying here, you won't want to leave! If this interest, you book now! The time to access this place is limited as you can only get there 3 months out of the year, and it books up quick! The owner is usually staying at a lower cabin to help with any questions about the cabin or surrounding area. If you do not have a vehicle that will make the drive, but you still want to be able to go to this amazing cabin you can book more than 3 nights and we will bring you up and back down for $100. If you cannot make it due to driving or your vehicle breaks down, you will not be refunded. We are not responsible for any damage to your vehicle.
