The highway used to run on the back of the property. In the 1800's there was a church on the back side of the property where one of our campsites is today. The ranch has beautiful scenery, lots of Wildlife, berries and wildflowers. It has always been my dream to share this with others Slice of Heaven with others.Learn more about this land:Come to our beautiful country home and enjoy fishing in our stocked pond. The pasture is quite visible from Old Route 66, nearly adjoining it. Therefore people traveling “the Mother Road” find it convenient to stay with us. Grass is the best forage for horses, especially older ones, so we take care of our pastures, making for beautiful scenery for campers, too. Plus the entire back mile is bordered by old forest. And there is a swimming hole not a half mile away. This is a quiet and private site, bordered by a neighbor's old forest on back, other neighbor's cattle pasture on side, and you're in one of the pastures used by the Horse Sanctuary. (You are camping about 1/4 mile, more or less, from our house.) We regularly see coyote, wild turkeys, deer, fireflies, and the like.   We are just 1/2 mile off Old Route 66, therefore there are quirky little museums and great restaurants (for such a rural area!).   Plus we are only about an hour's drive from Branson. MO. which is a known tourist attraction.

Beautiful little primitive, RV and tent campground on Leatherwood Creek. There are plenty of things to do around here for kids, such as building fires and making s’mores, hiking, climbing trees, catching frogs and crawdads, fishing, and swimming. Located 5 miles outside of Eureka Springs city limits there you can find shopping, restaurants, nightlife, zip lines, mountain biking, horseback riding, and many other things. I am a stone throw away from Holiday Island city limits where you can find restaurants, golfing, walking trails, and the marina where you can rent a boat or just put yours in. There is a RV and boat storage facility on the property so if you like this area that much you can store your toys here and come back every weekend to play with them. I just got started on this new adventure so in the years to come I will be putting in water and electric hook ups, including a dump site.

We loved the camping spot and Candida provided us with friendly conversation and fantastic dry firewood. It was private and nice to be near the horses as well.

Clean, private, and spacious. The host was great and accommodating, the property and views were beautiful, and there was even some wildlife. Note that the ground is quite rocky when hammering in stakes. You do hear animals at night (coyotes, dogs, and a rooster) and planes fly overhead (I guess the site is near an airport), but I slept well with earplugs. I had good mobile service in some spots.

The field had a tree line easily seen Fire pit and firewood ready. The animals are all friendly and they everyone is great to work with. There is water available but it is really a dry camping location. Self contained is best camping but the place and people are fantastic. We had no complaints. We strung up a hammock and enjoyed the fire, lightening bugs and stars!

Really enjoyed staying here! This is primitive camping in a horse pasture, but the views are great (surrounded by horses and lots of stars on clear nights) and we really enjoyed the amenities. There is a hot tub in a green house, opportunities to feed horses, etc. We found a couple fun swimming holes nearby and enjoyed checking out some nearby roadside attractions like Red Oak.

Weekend Trip to Secluded Airstream Retreat

We enjoyed our stay on Hally’s family farm. The airstream is really cute. The hot tub is a good touch and the covered deck was great during a storm while also providing shade in the sun. The bed was and comfy and we had pretty much everything we needed. There were a couple hiccups but Hally was very responsive. The airstream is located about 30 minutes to Branson and we enjoyed going to table rock lake to swim.

Weekend Trip to Secluded Airstream Retreat

Halley really has something special here. We were really impressed by the entire property; it was hilly, forested, covered in wildflowers, and overall just beautiful. The airstream itself was very well organized and decorated, we felt so cozy the entire weekend, especially since there was so much rain! The view from the trailer was amazing, we were treated to cows grazing and calves playing throughout our stay. I cannot recommend this place enough. The hosts were communicative, the bed was comfy and who doesn't love an evening hot tub session. Easily a 5 star stay. We will be back!

We stayed at Candida’s for 1 night. The horses and pasture area are beautiful. A table, 2 chairs and fire ring were provided. We got to help with grooming one of the horses during our stay! Candida is very nice and welcoming. My dog had a great time running through the field also.

If you like horses and dogs, this is a great place to camp! Most of the horses came over to say hello while we were setting up our tent, and my kids were fascinated. The animals are all very friendly and love getting pets. Sandra was great. My daughter has already asked when we can go back.

4 nights at Secluded Airstream Retreat

What an awesome Hipcamp stay! The Airstream was clean and stocked with all the essentials, even quality toilet paper! We loved getting to have our doggo with us and appreciated the hot tub after longs days of hiking at Hercules Glades Wilderness. We ordered ribeyes from the ranch and highly recommend. Our city kids got to have a great ranch experience and we are happy they got to see how hard the ranch hands work to care for the animals. The ranch dogs were a major plus! We biked around the property during down time and the views were spectacular. This is a very quiet and secluded stay, but close to hiking, stream walking, bike parks and small town restaurants which was exactly what we wanted. We would stay here again any time we are planning to be in this part of the state!
