Milo Farm was established organically a few years ago. The energy at Milo so amazing we wanted to share! There's a story behind the sacredness of this land, Loni can share that with you if you ask! There are 5 different ecosystems at Milo, all which hold their own magic!🪄 Milo has mant tent sites, car camping sites (for retroverted cars & sprinter vans), 6 cabins, a luxury guest space for you to stay! Sorry we DO NOT have any RV spots at this time. Our cabins are the Hippie Trailer, which is located near the west woods near the Fairy Forest. Then the Bunkhouse just past the big barn on the north end of the property. The lodge, where the Airbnb and pool are is centrally located on the land. We rent out the lower level guest quarters for non-campers. We have a Hobbit Hut near the Frog Pond, a Boho Bus near the entry way and several Vardos (gypsy wagons). For our tent campers there are tent sites in the Eastfield, including the Movie set location of the DM Cabin, and for diehard campers the beauty of primitive pack-in/pack-out camping of Freedom Field is a joy! Feel the energy of the sacred land. We also have SO may attractions! There are 2 stocked ponds, miles of trails, pool, Zen garden, farm animals, a library and more. Find all the portals here! Bless Mother Earth and spend some time in nature at this magical place. Great for the spiritually minded with several meditation spots. There are events happening some weekends you can participate in. We have a Call to Prayer 9:30am every day in the Art Studio/Spirit Shack, you may join us! Loni is a spiritual intuitive and can do a reading using the Milo Farm Oracle cards she created! Ask for availability of these things. Milo has a lot to offer! The Couple's Cabin is a part of the rustic Cabins of Lakeview by Sue Barn Venue. With its own lake-view porch too, it holds a maximum of 3 guests (including the ladder-accessible loft for one). When not being rented along with a wedding/event, it is offered here for a quiet stay. The Appleton City Lake does not allow swimming. It does not allow boats with motors. However, you could bring a kayak if you wanted. We have a community fire pit and picnic tables too. The grill is electric with pellets. We provide firewood for the pit and pellets for the grill. Guest access We are a little over one mile down a level gravel road and just 3.5 miles total from the small town of Appleton City where we have a little restaurant, Caseys, a very nice little grocery store (closes 7 pm), coffee house (mon-sat 8 am-11 am), and Dollar General (closes 9 pm). I live nearby on the property and am available to greet you when you arrive. Other things to note Appleton City is a small town. If you are coming in late, you may want to stop on the way to pick up food. We have a few stores in town, but some folks are caught off guard to find out the stores close early. But Caseys has sandwiches and assorted quick items and is open until 11 pm.

I absolutely loved Milo Farm! We had an amazing time staying in the bunk house. All the goats and donkeys roaming about, we're all so friendly, and I loved getting to pet them!. We walked all over their trails. The staff was also very friendly! Trout was a fun guy to to talk with, and Moonflower was very sweet! Will definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Annie's HIDEOUT Musicians Camp

Annie was extremely kind. Very easy to navigate and we enjoyed our time there. Unfortunately the shower did not work but she was very hospitable, she stocked us with a pack of water bottles (we also brought our own water) and otherwise enjoyable time. Easy to bring friends there and good for a group setting to hang out. We were careful of poison ivy on property but easy enough to stay away from and if someone is looking to get away for the weekend definitely a good place to go!

The property was great the cabin was awesome super cute the entire lot was well managed lots of room to move around nice fire pit nice amenities bathroom was a little sketchy but still work nice you need to give better warning of road conditions when going back definitely need a off-road vehicle truck SUV etc. if it's rained at all definitely suggesting four-wheel drive but all in all great experience definitely will be back

My children and I greatly enjoyed our time at Milo Farm. Everyone was kind and friendly. My children enjoyed exploring the trails, though we must return to see them all, and the Hobbit Hut was the perfect amount of whimsy we needed! Whether playing in the rain, cooking our meals on the bonfire, or naming frogs by the pond...everything felt otherworldly. It was three days of peaceful, healing energy. The animals were such a pleasure to see, the library is truly a gem, and the art studio was an immediate hit with the kids. Would highly recommend and already looking at dates for a future visit.

The Hobbit Hut is a quaint and charming little cabin decorated with mushrooms and gnomes. It has what you need for a quite away from everything trip. The people that are around are friendly along with the animals. The trails in the forest allow you to come back to nature and just relax. It was truly a great trip to disconnect and recharge.

Good value, I just wish that the air conditioner had worked for the entire stay, that the out door Christmas lights were working and there were no mouse droppings on the beds, but all of that is expected since we are basically on a farm. Take care of your trash/leftover food because the donkeys will scatter it if you don’t take it to the recycling/trash sorting place! The land was great and we enjoyed the time together. Would recommend for people who have kids and don’t want to put up a tent.

Walking through the trails was fun. We can’t wait to come back in the spring. The Hobbit Hut was nice but smaller than we thought. The fire pit and animals were great for the kids. We went in early winter with some rain and still had a great time.
