Weekend Trip to Turkey Hill RV Park

I don't usually select RV parks on Hipcamp but there were few options in the area and this one looked pretty good and I needed electric hookup due to the cold weather. This turned out to be a good spot. There was only one other camper there so I was very quiet. Clubhouse and bathrooms are a nice plus. The bathrooms were heated and spotless.

We really enjoyed our weekend on John’s land, and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Beautiful countryside, and our little girls really enjoyed all of the animals. Didn’t try our hand at fishing this trip, but did take a stroll around the property on a perfectly manicured path. Great cell signal for streaming some Saturday afternoon football. We slid over to RV1, and it was a super-easy back-in

The farm site was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. Kiddos especially loved the friendly animals. They loved getting to pet the horses, little donkeys, and cats. John provided a nice screened in sitting area as well as a hot shower and clean restroom. We didn't have time to go fishing, but the lake was serene. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, John!

I had my little teardrop camper and loved the property, horses, etc so much. Great getaway and great responsive hosts. Coming back soon with my fishing pole to catch and release a big one!

RV Site 1 & 2 right next to each other. Electric and water for both sites are near the picnic area to the right of the gravel pad.

This location was easy to find and absolutely beautiful! John and his family were very friendly and welcoming. I pulled in about an hour before sunset, setup, made dinner, and found a peaceful cozy place to eat that overlooks the lake. The sunset and sunrise was beautiful! Hung out by the lake until the sun went down. The bathroom was easy to find and shower was warm. Thanks for opening your property to Hipcamp and for your welcoming hospitality.

Very few RV Parks betweenTupelo and Birmingham so Matt's camp is a good location. And only a couple of miles off the interstate. Nice secluded, quiet, and shaded area. Clean bathhouse. We will stay there again if our travels take us that way.

I unfortunately got there too late to properly enjoy all that there was to offer. The lake was beautiful. The animals around were fun to see. I introduced my dog to some of them for her first time. There was a breeze way area for a place to cook, eat, shower, and even hang out. I was unlucky and got rained on during the night, but luckily there's a pavillion with a roof that I moved my tent under.

The site was level. large fishing pond to catch and release. There was a screened in porch with a full bathroom and kitchenette space for your use. There was not a stove though so keep that in mind. My only concern was that the water and power for the rv sites were shared..so if both sites were being used 1 person would need an extra long water and power cord. The animals were all friendly.

The outdoor kitchen and the the shower was heaven for primitive camping. But the Lake in the early morning is breath taking so if you are looking for a place to get away and have some privacy and great folks as your host

Beautiful property with a walking trail around the lake. The bathroom and shower were clean. There was a nice screeded in shady area to enjoy the scenery. Very convenient being close to town.
