Solomon's Garden is a 5 acre homestead located in the Black Warrior River valley. Our site is currently under land work construction, as we are recovering from the pine beetle disaster that has ravaged Alabama. Our beautiful pine trees are no more and we are in the process of rebuilding the campground, planting a food forest and adding an additional shower/toilet facility. We also have a larger, more remote camp area available on dry days. We loved camping in the pasture near a serene pond sheltered by rows of pine trees. Woke up to birds chirping in the pine woods. Danny set us up with electrical and dumping service. As well as access to water. It was a drive in for a quick one night stay as we traveled back to WI but would be worth it for a longer stay. Danny was very friendly-when we come back we will bring him some squeaky cheese curds!
