Sweet Olive Cabin can be a little difficult to find, especially in the dark. A GPS will get you close. The cabin is close to the road, Blossom Hill Rd. If you are coming in from the north, the cabin will be on the right. If coming in from the south, it will be on the left. Let me know If your eta is after dark, and I can leave the porch lights on for you.

Scott County is a dry county with beer available for sale or beer and alcohol for dining in at some locations.
Sweet Olive Cabin is not a “pet-friendly” property. We do, however, make an exception for registered service animals with an additional $25 fee.
In Forest (5-8 miles), there is Vowell’s grocery store, Walmart, and many fast food restaurants. For eating in, try Foothills lunch/dinner with live music on Friday and Saturday nights. If you are looking for some genuine southern cooking, there’s The Garden Patch (open till 2 pm M-Th).

Our cottages, named Kudzu and Willow, were built in 2021-2022 and are approximately 336 square feet. Enjoy sitting outside during the day, soaking up the beautiful sounds of nature and the starry skies at night. Our property is gated for safety, super private, and quiet!

We have two cottages sitting close to each other; this is the area you have access to. We have a larger building on the property as well, and you will see people coming and going using the common driveway. Park close to your specific cottage and avoid blocking the common space in between the two cottages.

My son and I stayed on Clays property one night on a drive from FL to Missouri. The property was great. We camped right by the pond and saw several deer and had a fantastic view of the stars. I’d definitely stay here again 👍👍

Austin has such a wonderful space! Upon arrival he greeted us and gave us a tour of the barn and animal stables. The ranch was easy to find and has a spacious driveway suitable for car camping. There are also several tent sites available, one of which was under a covered area with lights and an outdoor space heater. Bathrooms were inside with flushing toilets, heat, and lights- a camping luxury to us. We couldn't have been more grateful for the roof and made it through a rough storm shacked up with the incredibly friendly animals. Pet friendly, our 60lb dog had just as much fun looking at the animals as we did. We are looking forward to another stay if we're ever in the area.

We had an amazing tent camping trip with the most peaceful country views. Waking up in the morning to open skies, fresh air, and the sound of nature was exactly what we needed. The pond was absolutely beautiful — calm, clean, and perfect for fishing. We spent hours casting lines and just soaking in the quiet surroundings.

This place is a MUST visit! My husband and i enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back with babies and grandson. Mr. Austin stayed in contact even before the trip...We enjoyed interacting with the animals and were hoping to do the horseback riding but it rained. This place is 1000/10! This is a perfect spot for anyone - especially bikers - traveling on the Natchez Trace to camp as it's less that 1 mile off the trace. Nice level concrete pad with electric and water with a treelined forest on one side and an open field on the other. Great wide-open view of the stars (no light pollution!) from the site. Anna & Will were gracious hosts, communicating everything we needed before our arrival, and they made a point to check in on us to make sure all was well after we'd settled in - much appreciated! Gotta love the address (111 Dummy Line Road) and it was a great experience overall so I highly recommend.
