Remotely located among the riparian confines of Lake Maria, this campground's numerous walk-in style, primitive campsites offer backpackers the ultimate distraction-free outdoor experience

You'll stay cozy warm in this cabin , nestled in the woods of Lake Maria State Park . The cabins here are heated by a woodstove .  There is no electricity but a solar powered light is available if you need it . It is a short hike with some inclines .

The cabin we stayed in had no running water or electricity but a wood stove to keep you warm and a latrine just up the hill !

Firewood is cut and split , free of charge for the wood stove in the winter months . Be prepared to stoke the wood stove in the middle of the night to keep the chill away . Once stoked , you will be stripping your clothes though.
