We operate a 20 acre horse farm, the home of Red Horse Center for Collaborative Leadership, and The Sundance Center, organizations committed to providing equitable access to professional development, mental health services and community wellness programs. Provision Family Farms

Nestled in Manistee National Forest is a family farm. Trailheads lead to hundreds of miles of  public two-track, and the woods roll between oak/maple/beech and aspen/birch. On the farm is a 20 acre lake with a floating island, tent sites, and healthy ecosystems with plenty of wildlife.Our farm pastures pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry, investing in our dirt and our neighbors. We are provision family farms because we provide for our animals even as we are provided for. Drop on in at the house and we may have time for a little tour.In the woods is a small composting toilet, but you're welcome to fertilize our pastures anytime. There's also a shower available in the house.The best time to visit Michigan forests is in October when the leaves turn color and the nights are cool. The mosquitoes are done for the winter and the air is brisk.

Camp Clear Sky

Camp Clear Sky is our family compound in Lowell, Michigan. We allow guests to camp and sometimes have private music events for our guests to enjoy. Our 2BR 1BA eco-house is available for short-term rentals. 

There are three large parks and two rivers within a mile of the property. Nearby connections to hiking, bicycle, snowmobile, and water hiking trails include the North Country Trail, Lowell Area Trailway, Flat River Water Trail, Grand River Water Trail, Fred Meijer River Valley Trail, and more!

Learn more about this land:Very secluded land in Newaygo County, near White Cloud/ Brohman/ Woodland Park area. The property is surrounded by National Forest Land. There are two properties available for rent, or the both could be rented out if you choose. A sandy road leads to the properties, and then a two track to get to them. Both are mostly flat with great spots for tents or RV campers. Perfect spot for anyone looking for a private campsite that can accommodate groups up to 30 people.

I am creating a homestead based on simple but holistic living. The cabin was built built by myself with the help of family and friends. There are a number of trails to walk on the 35 private acreage of rolling hills. This heavily wooded land hosts much wildlife and beautiful scenery. There is a sport court which provides opportunities to play basketball, volleyball, pickleball, or badminton. The property is a work in progress with lots of plans for the future; including a  food forest, natural pool, recreation building (being built summer 2022), and more.. The property offers a chance to reconnect with each other, yourself, or the natural world in a simplistic and harmonious way. I hope you come experience it!

35 private acres of forest on rolling hill terrain. Lots of wildlife nestled very close to the flat river; 30-40 minutes away from Grand Rapids. The Fred Meijer trail provides great biking or hiking opportunities. Lazy float tubing or kayaking down the flat river is very popular and only a short walk away. Horse back riding, golf courses, and an amazing local bakery all within a couple miles. And a fun sport court (basketball hoop, volleyball/badminton/pickelball net all right on site!

Hen and Hive Provisions

We are a small bio-dynamic farm situated on 10 acres in West Michigan. the land  has small diverse eco-systems. Open meadows with large White pine to dense woods to the back of the property.

 We have a small diverse fiber herd of Jacob sheep and Nigora Goats along with some heritage Breed chickens including 1 Rooster who watches over the flock. A small group of Cayuga duck work their pest control magic as the snoodle around the entire property. These ducks go everywhere! There are also 2 barn cats, that might visit your camp site if you are traveling without dogs.

we also host group of 24 Bee Hives.

On the farm we grow a variety of veggies, flowers and Medicinals.  We have plots of native woodland medicinals and a variety of other Perennials and Medicinals including Hemp and Cannabis on a very small scale. Everything is grown organically. 

We are also close to the Red Flannel Gun club,  sometimes we hear guns.  

We are also very close to the Cedar Chase Golf Course if you like golf.

Hen and Hive Provisions is a small collection of Honeys, medicine and full-Spectrum  Aromatherapy CBD Topicals that we sell locally and at seasonal markets.
