Wildlife and nature abound. Our peaceful and private grounds will be your camping oasis. Within walking distance of beautiful Lake Huron with its beaches and marina and parks, plus the Port Sanilac Lighthouse (tours available on summer Fridays), and several bars and restaurants. Check out our Farmers' Market on Fridays and catch a live play at the 150-year-old Barn Theatre. Take a guided tour of the beautiful Loop-Harrison Mansion, built in 1872. Or hop on a 1917 open-air Model T or horse and carriage for a tour around town. Join us for one of our many events: bourbon tasting parties, live music, historical re-enactments, psychic readings, lectures, and much more. There is always something happening at the Museum! The path also winds past each of our 17 historic buildings and the 1942 U.S. Army Troop Train. We host weekend events during the summer months, including historical re-enactments, Farmers' Market, live music, outdoor yoga and fitness classes, bourbon tasting parties, Rockin' the 70's Music Festival, and much more! Tour the beautiful Loop-Harrison Mansion, celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2022. Enjoy a live performance at the Barn Theatre on Friday and Saturday evenings.
