Robert made us feel totally welcome and the spot is great. Water, electric hook up and close to everything but not too close. It's the perfect spot. If you need anything there is a Love's truck stop right down the road with clean showers and laundry area. This is a great location and I would totally stay here again.

My husband and son spent a weekend at Jac's bunkhouse and absolutely loved it. The beach is less than a minute's walk and the area is beautiful. They enjoyed making fire and grilling some steaks on the provided fire pit and Webber. Bed was soft as a cloud and the house was neat and clean with everything they needed. They loved it and I might have to head that way to experience it for myself.

Robert was awesome. His place was a perfect spot to rest between Cleveland and the UP. He responded promptly and was so nice and accommodating during my two separate stays. Just a few minutes off 75. He has electric, so I was able to charge my Ecoflows in my van which was a nice. Highly recommend and will be back.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this adorable little cabin in Lexington over Labor Day weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! The cabin itself was so cozy and charming, with all the little details that made it feel welcoming and comfortable. We loved the beach access and beautiful views—it was the perfect spot to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. It truly felt like a hidden gem, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

The cabin was a perfect size for the 2 of us and the outdoor area is awesome to hang out and have a fire. So close to “downtown” Lexington with plenty of things to do and see. My partner and I stayed at Jac's Bunkhouse for a long weekend and had a wonderful stay! Becca was a gracious host and made sure we had everything we needed, allowing us privacy but assuring us she was always available nearby. The property was super cute and cozy, a very small indoor space (bedroom, bathroom, and enclosed patio with a little dining area) but definitely enough for two people. The views in the yard were serene, and the beach was about a minute's walk away. While the place wasn't equipped with a stovetop or oven, it did have a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker, and there were plenty of dining options available in town, just a few minutes away. Overall, I'd recommend the Bunkhouse to any solo/duo travelers looking for a peaceful place to relax and get away on the water.

Jac’s bunkhouse was charming and welcoming as soon as you step into the home. You’ve got all the essentials, a microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, even a charcoal grill and fire pit outside. It’s a cozy private nook surrounded by trees; just steps away from a swim in the lake or a walk along the beach. Walkable to town, with so many options around. Becca was very generous, showed me around, and even fed me a home cooked meal! One of the best hosts I’ve encountered, she also goes above and beyond to make her guests feel more than welcome, and you can feel the love she puts into this little home as soon as you step inside. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

Weekend Trip to Peabody Small House

What a peaceful and tranquil place to have as home base to explore Detroit and Ann Arbor Michigan. Temps were high, so having a 50 Amp hook up was so important to us to be able to run our a/c. Also being able to fill some water in our tanks was very helpful as it has been hard to find publicly. Camping World is only 12 miles away in Chelsea and the dump is free if you have A Good Sam’s membership. The hosts were responsive when we needed them but also gave us our space to do our own thing. We were in a 34 ft class A RV and we fit, but you may need some help being guided in, so let them know when you are close by.

My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and absolutely loved it. There’s a nice beach down the street and if you don’t like that one the public beach isn’t too far. The beach down the street has plenty of rocks for people who love rock collecting.
