We have a working, organic farm with a lot of animals, however, we also do crops as well. This particular farm is 138 acres with 8 acres of woods. We have working dogs, sheep, cattle, horses, a couple goatsWe have some super great animals. Most of which are very friendly.
You never know what will be available to see on the farm when you visit. We are expecting a foal (baby horse) this summer (2021)
and are already planning for another foal next summer as well. We often have puppies as well and sometimes we have to bottle feed lambs. There's never a dull moment.
Our farm is unique in the way of having a very positive VIBE to it. The energy is awesome! It's really a space of tranquility and healing if you allow yourself to go there.
After hosting with air bnb for a little over a year now, we decided to give this a try as well. We love hosting people and having them come to the farm and enjoy our way of life. It also helps to have a supplemental income as having and running a small family farm isn't very sustainable. Typically there's off the farm jobs to help pay for the farm life. It's a crazy equation. Small family farms are far and few between. Please support your local farmer if possible! It is greatly appreciated!

The Magic Forest is located right across the street from the 4400 acre Rifle River State Recreation area. You can expect to hear the bird song throughout the day, and many other woodland critters as we are surrounded by state land, and are located on a federally protected watershed. It's about as clean as it gets! The area is traversed enough where we do not experience a population of bears or other predators one may be wary of in the woods. Whether you are a hiker, birder, forager, hunter, fisherman, dirt biking, or seeking a serene place to rejuvenate yourself-you have found a location that offers activities for every season.
We do host events on the land such as yoga, sound meditations, retreats, and more. If you happen to stay while an event is occurring, there is a possibility you may be able to join during your stay. Contact directly for details.
Rose City is 10 minutes down the road with access to all general food amenities you may need, as well as restaurants. West Branch is about 25 minutes away with the big box stores as well. The owner (Robert) could not have been more helpful in helping us get the lay of the land before we arrived very late due to mechanical delays with our camper. He even set up a light pointing at the building we were to park and hookup at to aid us in our late arrival We cannot stress enough what a great guy he is and how smooth he made our arrival. He even checked in with us in the morning to make sure all went well. 5 stars, Robert.

Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The river is beautiful to watch, lots of wildlife and fantastic sunsets right in front of you. You are able to fish right from your site. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. This will be our annual fishing spot.

Nice property! Great location for canoeing 🛶 the Rifle or Au Sable rivers. Everything was as expected and we enjoyed the pines and the stars at night. David, our host, was very accommodating, quick with responses to questions, and a joy to meet! Nice guy! ☺️✌🏼

Scenic as it gets - lovely place - nice people - way out rural but there’s a small town not far to get supplies - the pool is a nice plus - dog friendly - and a fun glimpse into small farming life with two really decent, nice honest people.

We highly recommend this place to everyone. Such a beautiful property filled with an abundance of wildlife. We had such a relaxing, and good time, over the 4th of July weekend. Our host was so accommodating and kind. Thank you so much for sharing your slice of heaven with us. You are the best!!
