This cozy fenced-in spot provides a place to plug in your RV and stay in the Big Easy in a safe, tucked away side yard just minutes from the Bywater, Marigny and French Quarter and a few blocks from the Mississippi River. You can drive, bike, or Uber to hundreds of bars and restaurants in less than 15 minutes.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the brick patio and feel free to use the fire pit (fall/winter only) and hammock! The description says an acre because it is impossible to put in a smaller number, but the actual parking space is about 25 x 50 ft, with additional hangout space nearby.
I am right next door (on the other side of the fence) if you need anything and can help navigate entering and setting up and give you a key to lock the gate with.
Warning: If your camper/RV is tall, it is tight getting in because there is a branch near the gate that hangs down to about 10.5 - 11 feet. This is best for small pull behinds and camper vans.

We're a non profit community garden in the Old Algiers neighborhood of New Orleans on the West Bank of the Mississippi River, a 15 minute drive or ferry ride to the French Quarter. We use the money from these bookings to fund the community food access work that we do. While you're here you can enjoy our peaceful and spacious garden property, and we encourage you to get to know some of the fantastic neighbors who use our community fridge and herb garden.
Take the scenic Mississippi River Levee Path 1 mile to get to the Algiers Ferry dock which departs every 30 minutes and drops you off at the foot of Canal Street in the heart of New Orleans. If you have a car you can cross the bridge and get to most of the city in 15 minutes. You can also explore Algiers Point with its many restaurants, bars, local art and historic buildings. The levee trail is a block away, where you can jog, bike, or just watch the boats go by.
Property amenities include an open air bathroom and shower, communal screened porch with seating area, propane grill and various pots/pans, cooking gear and tableware, fridge, picnic tables and a small fire pit. Stayed here for a week during Jazzfest. Affordable RV park in the back of a motel. The manager is very friendly, helpful, and responsive. At $30/night for full hookups it was by far the cheapest option around New Orleans that I found. The park is bare bones, just a gravel lot. The biggest negative for me is it’s right next to the railyard, the trains are loud and I could feel the ground shake at times. I liked that it’s right across the street from the bus line (9), which runs very close to the fairgrounds, I got a week pass on the RTA Le Pass app for $15 for unlimited rides.

Very secure for your trip into New Orleans. Very friendly staff and electric hook ups. I didn’t hear the trains when I slept but they are close so bring ear plugs if you wake to any noise. Uber is around 20-25 to French quarter and there is laundry I Wish there were a little grassy dog area, he did not want to go to the bathroom there, lots of rocks. But again very secure to keep your fur baby safe in your RV while you check out the sights with 24/7 cameras and isn’t that the most important?! We will be back and recommend.

Good place to stay for the budget conscious. Trains didn't bother me at all, actually helped me sleep cause we are train enthusiast and I grew up semi close to hearing trains all night. Yeah, the neighborhood is a little rough, but don't cause any problems won't be any problems. The entire property is securely gated requiring a card to enter for those that are concerned, we weren't. Very close to Jazz Fest and the French Quarter. Brijesh was super nice and accommodating.

Perfect affordable safe spot to camp if you are headed to the New Orleans area. Visited New Orleans for work and partied in the city after work. 15 mins from the city in a gated well lit secure lot with water and power hook ups. Will definitely return. Not the best area in the city but just like anywhere else. Staff/owner was very helpful and it's obvious they take pride in maintaining the property.

This is a great little glamping spot! Exactly what we were looking for! Like the property name says… it has all you need. That said, if you like creature comforts, bring your own.
Perfect spot for a couple’s getaway in the woods for a night or two. The site is close to other camp sites but feels private and secluded. We hope to be back soon!

Highly recommend Creekside Farm. The owners/hosts are invested in your experience and are available to help if needed. The property is beautiful and well cared for. We camped near the creek and enjoyed hiking down the creek bed, biking, and the overall peace and quiet. Hope to camp there again in the future.

This was our second stay at Bayou Peninsula. It's a great piece of property, and Debbie is the consummate hostess. Check in and set up were a breeze. We enjoyed relaxing at the beach in Waveland, stargazing around the firepit at night, and watching the sunet on the bayou. Thanks again Debbie!

We love bayou peninsula! This is our second time to stay here and it was even better than the first time. Deborah is a lovely host and her property is beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable. The views are gorgeous and the sun sets are stunning. It's very close to Bay St Louis Beach and Waveland Beach. Very close to anything you need yet still quiet and relaxing.
