We had the BEST time camping at the Kiln’s!! We will most certainly be coming back here the next time we camp at RRG. Kim was an incredible host and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed! Boone Valley Campground is the place to be. If you are looking for a nice quiet camping experience you have to check this place out. The owner Ben is one of the coolest fellas you'll ever meet. We camp 10 to 20 times a year and this has been one our our favorite spots ever. Very close to natural bridge and the gorge.

Weekend Trip to Trace Space KY

We really can’t say enough good things about this space and the host. The space is incredibly relaxing and comfortable. The birdwatching is amazing. And the garden was beautiful. My wife spent the weekend identifying and researching all of the plants in the garden. We were visited each day by a variety of birds including (but not limited to) Red Headed Woodpeckers, Orchard Orioles, Brown Thrashers, Cardinals, Cedar Waxwings, and many others. MJ was incredibly friendly and accommodating, answering any question we had very quickly. She is simply the most thoughtful and kind host. We highly recommend staying here.

Land was beautiful! Horses were beautiful! It was so quiet and serene on the land. And close to gas and stores. Hosts were so sweet. They told us about the horses and their names. Kim was very welcoming. She offered to give us a canopy for the rain, she let us use the music stage to hang out hammocks and cook. She even let us plug our electric vehicle into the music stage. We had a wonderful stay, would highly recommend :)

I loved staying there! It is a bit confusing getting to the campsite, but I called Bart and he immediately came down to help me find it. Bart and his wife are insanely kind! It's a cute little land with a compostable outhouse which I loved. I highly recommend!

Wow! It was a lovely experience Judy was amazing and my little brother really enjoyed the toy playroom and all the activities that he was able to do!!! We will definitely be back!! My only suggestions is to put out like a Howell Cattle Company sign because it was a little hard to find and if your taking directions to get there do them to Howell Cattle Company because it’ll take you directly there instead of the address recommended here (I don’t know if it was only our experience but the address provided here took us the wrong way)!

Weekend Trip to Family Farm Experience

For a family with small kids, this couldn’t have been a better setup! My kids(5 & 7 years old) got to hold baby animals, swim, jump on trampolines, play on playgrounds, and run around until their little legs just couldn’t run anymore. This area is so private, we just had a handful of other families camping so we didn’t have to stress about heavy traffic or people. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer, the true definition of southern hospitality. They brought us so many things, went and blew up some massive bounce houses for the kids to play in, and ran to town to get ice cream everyone. My kids are already begging to go back and we’ve only been home for a few hours 😂 They had blackstones, grills, a fridge and a great covered area to eat meals and hang out. The literal only thing I’d say is you are on a working farm, you will have some animal noise around while you’re sleeping, but with a white noise machine we had zero issue sleeping through it. We went fully expecting that, and my kids were so excited to see animals it was totally worth it.

We loved camping on Ben’s land! Lots of primitive sites from open field to hammock camping. Shower house is in progress but nicely kept. We camped all the way at the bottom near a small waterfall; 4 wheel drive is highly recommended in some spots at the bottom. Ben came and checked on us and is very pleasant. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area.

However, mechanical problems may occur that cannot be resolved quickly in this remote area and no refunds are made if this occurs, per the terms of our rental agreement. Pets brought to Pet-friendly Cabins must be paid for in advance or at time of booking. We do allow (1) animal per booking and it must be approved via an inquiry/message to us prior to submitting your reservation. We charge a non-refundable pet fee of $150 and any additional cleaning and/or damages will be billed in addition to this amount. A minimum of $350 per animal will be charged to the guest for animals brought to non-pet-friendly cabins and/or for animals that were not pre-approved. No charge for service animals or emotional support animals. Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change and you must cancel or reschedule your stay. A $100 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations and no refunds are allowed within (30) days or less of your booked check-in date. We will work with you to reschedule your dates if your check-in date is greater than (30) days away. No refunds are permitted due to sudden inclement winter weather, but come anyway and get snowed in with us! Please be aware that no refunds are permitted for cancellations on holidays, which include but is not limited to: New Year’s Eve, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. For a possibility of a full refund, you may be given the option to purchase renters/trip insurance during the booking process depending upon the booking platform you are using. One side of the loft has a separate bunk room with sliding barn door and a set of custom built twin bunk beds. The other side of the loft has a beautiful bath room with double sinks and a stand-up shower.
