Joe had been accumulating land in the Genoa, West Virginia, area for several years and had dreamed of building cabins, tree houses and uniquely designed vacation rentals and campsites on a beautiful area called Hampton Ridge. We are located less than two miles from the town of Big Stone Gap. One acre is enclosed for a dog park. There are two RV lots with 30-amp plug-ins and water hookups. Please note, we do not have a septic dump.
The top lot can accommodate RVs up to 36’, and the bottom lot up to 28’. The property features fascinating sedimentary rock formations, a rock waterfall flowing into a small pond, mountain views, and a horseshoe pit. We also have wildlife cameras that capture animals passing through the property each night.
For an additional fee, you can reserve our hot tub for one hour or longer.
We are adults only (without prior approval).

This was a beautiful little farm to camp for the night. It would also be perfect for someone to make it their base camp to get away from everything then go explore during the day.
We spoke with the sweet couple who own the farm when we arrived. They are amazing 💗.
We camped next to the barns which housed horses. They were quiet and friendly.
It’s a perfect spot if you want privacy away from a campground. It’s considered a single sight so you have all the privacy.
Keep in mind, you are on someone’s farm and pretty much in their back yard, and will hear roosters crowing in the morning. However, it is still a private space for you/your group. We still had a fire, stayed up late, and played music 😊
