Nightfall Farms was an absolute dream! The hosts were kind, helpful, communicative, and made sure everything went smoothly. The outdoor kitchen was an absolute highlight, and we loved getting to spend some time with the new piglets. 10/10 recommend.

Liz’s cabin is charming and cozy. The property is beautiful and Liz was kind and responsive.
We took our kids to creek stomp and swim at Muscatatuck county park about 30 minutes away and it was perfect, just what we were looking for!
I would definitely recommend a stay at nightfall farm.
*there is a barn cat that comes and hangs out at the cabin (outstayed his welcome as he stole some of our food and tried to bite me). Just beware if you are not cat people. Liz kindly put him away after we asked her.

Weekend Trip to Nightfall Farm
The cabin was amazing. It was all I could ask for in a secluded retreat without actually being too far away from folks or from home. I didn't get to chat with Nate, but Liz and her mom, Carol were amazing. Croft was also a very attentive host as were the doggos. The woods were great to walk in and get connected back to nature. I would recommend to a solo camper or someone bringing a friend. Oh, the outdoor kitchen was amazing.

Our stay at Nightfall Farm was awesome despite arriving in the rain! The land is beautiful and the little cabin is charming with a very comfy bed. We really appreciated the well equipped outdoor kitchen with running water. Liz and Nate were kind and thoughtful hosts. I hope we can return!

Weekend Trip to Nightfall Farm
Loved my stay at nightfall Farm! The cabin is tucked behind the barn in the woods and is very private. I felt safe, secluded, and it was so lovely to wake up to a dozen different bird calls (according to my bird app).
Instructions and signage were clear and everything was lined out so I felt comfortable while I was there. Good communication with the hosts!
Walking the property and along the road at sunset and early morning was peaceful. I saw a few little green snakes and lots of wildflowers! The area where the farm is is really beautiful.
The cabin was great. I loved all the repurposed items that were used to build it. There's a ceiling fan and a couple of electrical outlets, which was nice. Had a great breeze overnight through the many windows. The porch swing outfront was really cool, too.
The two dogs were very friendly to me and Croft the cat, while he was a jerk, was also very sweet. He had no problem being confined to his carrier while I was eating my meal I cooked on the outdoor in the outdoor kitchen
Remember you are in the country, and there could be a multitude of different bugs - I wasn't bothered by too many of them. Spotty and limited cell service, although when I walked down to the far end of the road I was able to get a good signal.
The (outside) kitchen/picnic area could be dusty..... just like when you're camping.
Overall, everything was just really great!

We enjoyed how quiet and private the cabin was. Very friendly host, explained everything well. Heated blanket came in handy on a chilly night! Enjoyed the well appointed outdoor kitchen and very clean composting toilet.

Weekend Trip to Nightfall Farm
A unique cabin on a farm! Perfect for a weekend get-away from the city or suburbs. Liz greeted me at dusk and introduced me to the space with a tour of the outdoor kitchen (stocked with cooking supplies, close to water, covered, convenient eating are, easy to use camping stove…), outhouse (clean with composting toilet and a view into the woods), and a spacious unique cabin built with recycled materials and a perfect sunrise view on March mornings through the leafless trees! The electric space heater and electric blankets were very appreciated on cold nights along with a fire pit right near the front porch. Amazing hiking within 30 minutes that provided me with much needed ‘outside in nature’ time!! Highly recommend this Hipcamp site!

What stood out more than anything else really was the hospitality. Liz was super warm and friendly , responsive to messages and accommodated our needs and asks.
If going on a super chilly night, might consider taking or asking for an additional heater. It was 19 degrees during our stay and our heater couldn’t keep up. Thankfully the heated blankets kept our bodies warm!

It's like visiting an old friend. No amount of money could offer the feeling this place gave, from the warm welcome to the colorful personality of the farm cat. It was perfect. Would highly recommend, and Liz and Nate will definitely see us again.

Weekend Trip to Nightfall Farm
I loved my spur of the moment decision to get outta town (Cincinnati) and be in nature. I chose Nightfall Farm randomly. Ok, well I’m a newbie at the outdoors thing and I knew the Sunrise Cabin had a space heater AND heated blanket. But the camping Gods were watching over me that day!
I mean, the bed was so comfortable, I’m mad I’m not still there!! It rained all night and to hear it on the tin roof . BONUS! But I digress! Liz, the host was great. She brought the wood over to the cabin even though I think we were both wondering if I would only need 1/2 of what I asked for! lol,
I loved it there and will definitely be back in the spring. Nature cures everything!!

We loved staying in the cabin! It was clean and cozy, and we were comfortable even when it got very cold at night. We loved the outdoor kitchen and had everything we needed to make ourselves a nice meal. It was the perfect compromise between camping and a lodge. Liz and her family were excellent hosts, and we’re looking forward to going back!

Weekend Trip to Nightfall Farm
Liz and Nate were so kind and helpful. Their farm and land is beautiful to spend a cozy weekend at the cabin, take long walks through the forest, and visit their animals. We forgot some food and they so kindly helped us out so we didnt have to go to the market. The cabin was such a dream. We both slept better than we had in months. We loved the outdoor firepit at night and it was so fun to cook in their outdoor kitchen. Highly recommend buying eggs from their farm. super delicious. I honestly cant say enough wonderful things about the time we spent at nightfall farm. Highly recommend if you need time to get away- replenish, nourish, and restore!

Weekend Trip to Nightfall Farm
We had a really cozy stay in Liz and Nate's cabin! The tall ceiling and walls full of windows gave the feeling of being out in the woods with the comfort of a roof and four walls. I loved looking out at the silhouette of the trees behind the light of the half moon at night. It was a mildly cold November night when we stayed, but we stayed plenty warm with the quilt and heated blanket that are in the cabin. I was charmed by this southern Indiana gem - a farm that they steward with love and great care. Thank you for having us!
