Our family is a 5th generation farm to the land and is excited to be raising the national mammal, the American bison, on the richest grass pastures while following agriculture rotational grazing methods here in Northern Indiana! We started our “hobby” farm herd in 2021 during the covid pandemic when we were looking for healthier choice food products and knew bison was a great source of protein that is rich in mineral and vitamins. The advantage of the bison being a healthier choice product is they are an American history icon and very majestic to observe while on the farm. Shortly after starting our herd, we started receiving phone calls from other Hoosier families who wanted to buy our products.
Our family is glad to be raising bison for Hoosier families across the state and further now!
Our family has enjoyed meeting visitors from all over Indiana and many other states. We have also welcomed visitors from 13 other countries.
We currently offer Meat, Skulls, hides, walking, and wagon tours.

What a blessing to have found this spot on my epic road trip! From the moment I made my reservation, the communication was excellent and responsive. Even though I arrived late in the evening, my hosts came out to greet me personally and made sure I had absolutely everything I needed for a comfortable night’s rest.
Their genuine warmth and care went above and beyond typical hosting - they truly created a safe, welcoming space for a solo traveler like myself. The morning brought an extra delightful surprise when they checked in on me and I got to meet the adorable newborn goats!
This is exactly the kind of authentic connection that makes Hipcamp experiences so special. I’m deeply grateful to have crossed paths with such wonderful people who create not just a place to park, but a true sanctuary for weary travelers. To start the directions were easy and Shari and David were there to great us. They have a couple hundred acres and the camp site is in the back 40... which they led the way to our beautiful spot by the river. There were plenty of parking options for our trailer to which we backed in under the trees. There is fresh water, picnic table, fire pit and garbage can. There are kayaks available for use in the river...WOW! Sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. It is completely hidden from any civilization. Great place to camp!

Shari and David were incredible hosts. If you want a no frills, beautiful, private, and unique stay, stay here. We will absolutely seek to stay here again if we are in the area. We had travel troubles and didn’t arrive until midnight and they stayed awake to meet us and guide us to our spot. We were grateful for their hospitality, flexibility, and understanding. An absolutely awesome stay!
