Open all year round, we have plenty of spacious big rig pull-thru sites up to 110 feet long, with picnic tables, fire rings, grass areas, and of course, full hookups (water, sewer, and both 30A and 50A electrical connections). Park amenities include private bathrooms with showers, laundry rooms, free WiFi, hot tub, dog park, dog wash station, firewood, ice, playground (under construction), dump station, and propane tank refills. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates are available for most sites. Shaded tent sites with raised tent platforms are also available.
Local favorite Rigby Lake is less than a mile away and makes for a fun place to cool off on a hot summer day for the whole family. Opportunities for adventure are abundant in the surrounding area, including fishing the famous Henry's Fork and South Fork of the Snake River, riding OHVs at the St. Anthony sand dunes, seeing bears and other wildlife at the nearby Yellowstone Bear World, soaking in Heise Hot Springs, or just exploring the towns of Rigby and nearby Idaho Falls and Rexburg. Tent camping sites were clean, in the shade, and well maintained. Power and water was available and convenient. Parking was easy. Close to the bathhouse/hot tub, laundry mat, and playground. Very peaceful except the occasional kids walking through the campsite (which management addressed without me saying anything when they noticed) or late night camper driving over to use the bathroom (headlights shining into tent).
Bathrooms were nice and exceptionally clean. Sherrie and her team do an excellent job and clearly take pride in their work. Better than most hotels. Laundry facilities were also well kept and decently priced.
Initially the power at my campsite was not working and Terry immediately went to work rectifying the issue, furnishing an extension cord for my work laptop until the problem could be found. Ended up being a quick and easy fix, but regardless felt very taken care of as a guest and feel that he went above and beyond to make sure that I was provided good service and had a comfortable stay.
Both Sherrie and Terry were outstanding staff members. I enjoyed my conversations with them and felt that they are kind people that care about the park, its guests, the quality of experience and services provided, and taking pride in their work. I’ve worked as a campground host for forest service and maintenance for state parks and can honestly say they not only did their jobs well, they exceeded expectations. Would come back and stay just to visit with them.

Weekend Trip to Starlight Retreat Yellowstone
Absolutely loved our beautiful glampsite on the way to Yellowstone National Park! Didn’t know it came with great perks like the welcome center, friendly staff, towels for showering, a community fire pit, a map, etc! Sure it can be colder at night with the high altitude but I slept very comfortably with the fuzzy blankets provided. It was such an aesthetic way to camp and I will never go back to regular camping LOL. Very responsive and friendly host, and super helpful and chill staff! One guy even gave me his personal floss when I had an “floss emergency” lol. Absolutely loved it here! 1000000/10 would stay again and bring more friends :)

Everything was great! We had some issues getting there because of road closures due to a fire, but they were very helpful with instructions for late check in. They had also texted us earlier in the day to check in and welcome us. The tipi was comfy and cozy and the shower houses were very clean and a short walk away. Very welcoming and chill atmosphere.

Our family had a great time staying here in one of the tipis. By far the highlight of our stay was the full view of the night sky. Camp host was great, and had everything we needed! Would happily recommend this for those seeking a more unique experience.

Greeted by a helpful and happy staffer for early check-in. The sleeping space was clean on entry. Beds/linens were clean and warm. Enough blankets and comforter heft to keep everyone warm dung a 42 degree evening. Bathrooms were clean. Outstanding stay! W Yellowstone 20 mins away. Would go back for sure.

Enjoyed the s’mores and camaraderie with the other campers. Even though it was a bit chilly, (41 degrees in late June) the “glamping” experience was unique for two senior adults and two teenage girls!

The bell tents were so very cute and cozy! We loved the solar charging and lights! The beds were extremely comfy! The staff at Starlight and so kind and easy to talk to and they were helpful and outgoing! We enjoyed relaxing by the community fire and playing the yard games. The wild flowers, everywhere were gorgeous! We absolutely loved our stay here and will recommend Starlight Retreat to others.
