This is grain bin glamping. Expect it to be like camping except for not in a tent.. there is power enough for lights and to power your devices. The temperatures are the same as inside a tent. I have 2 bins available that sleeps 2 each. There is a porta potty next to each one. There will be outdoor showers, but currently the shower bathroom, it's up at the barn. This is still under development, so more will be added with every grain bin having it's own unique personality. This is also the best views of bear lake that you can get. This area of the property often as deer rabbits, and sometimes even moose strolling through it. No wood fires during the summer months, as it's too dry. I will provide a gas fire for an extra cost.

As such, conditions may vary and the path may occasionally be muddy or difficult to navigate. While access may require extra care, we’ve personally made the walk with our children (ages 5 to 15) even in high water years. The lake in this area is very shallow for several hundred feet, making it ideal for wading and kid-friendly fun when the beach is exposed. There is no on-site boat launch, but public ramps are just a short drive away. Please note there are a couple of shallow ditches on the property that may occasionally hold standing water. These have never posed an issue, but we recommend keeping an eye on young children just to be safe. Also, FIREWORKS ARE NOT ALLOWED. With plenty of space to spread out and no crowded campgrounds in sight, this spot is ideal for RVers and campers seeking peace, privacy, and unforgettable views. **Off season dates 09/25 - 04/26 no potties or wash station available during this time. We have extended our tent pad to be able to add up to 4 big tents measuring roughly 40x17-18. Please be honest about the number of guests that are coming max is 20, if you want more than that don't hesitate to get in touch with me separately. Mostly cause I clean and want to ensure it's clean for the next camper. This tent site is PACK IN PACK OUT. I don’t have city services, if you need trash services It's $7.50 per TRASH BAG that I need to take out. Outhouse is a pit toilet, but I make sure it does not stink and is extremely clean. I only have it listed as 1 place so you can have a family reunion or just come as a family. When you come to our place we have an accenting driveway, and a large boulder retaining wall with a gray gate to keep the camp secured and keep range cows out. This property is a working homestead. YOU WILL SEE ANIMALS and hear US working especially if you hike up the main road where we live. WE HAVE separation however we are still needing to manage the land and the animals. The campsite we don't enter, but we have to access the main road to run errands or go to work. We do our own thing and the campers do their own thing. If you are curious about the farm and operations we are happy to show you around and you are welcome to explore but you WILL RUN INTO us :) we don't mind as long as you don't mind. If you want to see more of the property and all the projects, we do a YouTube channel @mountainmapleranch to see all the updates. Bring your toys, such as bikes, 4-wheelers, and ATVs we have some fun trails close by that go to the back of Worm Creek Basin that goes on for miles of beautiful trails.

Gracious host, comfortable site, beautiful view. We did not book far enough in advance, however, communicating with the host we were able to secure a two-night stay. After a minor matter with the power receptacle and the host having a branch trimmed on a tree due to the size of our RV, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to others.

Weekend Trip to Bear Lake Raspberry Patch

Ear Lake Rasberry Patch is the best camping spot in Bear Lake if you don’t like crowds, with beautiful views and is very peaceful! The owner John is the friendliest, most helpful host. We had issues with our plug and he did everything to accommodate us, even though he didn’t have to. You are missing out if you don’t stay here. We will be back as soon as we can!

Weekend Trip to Endless Empire

Beautiful steampunkesque glamping spot with a million dollar view on a uniquely and well crafted property. All was clean, including the porta potty which was cleaner than some bathrooms I've experienced. Bedding was fresh and comfortable. Felt we had the whole place to ourselves. We were thankful to have one night of clear sky to watch the stars because it gets so dark out there. We'll definitely be back!

We enjoyed staying at Palisades Retreat, the owners are knowledgeable, helpful and very kind. Their RV spaces are organized and their flowers make the sites cheery. We appreciated this location and its proximity to everything we wanted to explore. Highly recommend!

Beautiful setting! Hard to beat the location. The property is just as described. The pavilion is really nice to have and there was ample space for camping and kids to run around. The hand wash station is a nice touch. The stars were unreal on our last night when it was clear. Being right next to the lake really helps with the darkness at night. Enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing stay at Raspberry Patch. The views were wonderful and the space was lovely. Close to everything Bear Lake has to offer. John was a great host. Greeted us when we came and gave us our privacy. Would definitely stay again.

Thank you Ben! The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The view from the room is breathtaking with an entire panoramic view of the lake. We loved sitting out at night star gazing and listening to the sounds of the bugs at night. It’s a peaceful spot. Our dogs felt very comfortable we will definitely be booking in the future!

What a gem! I hate to leave a great review, in total fear or this beauty becoming too popular and therefore less availability for me. Selfish I know, but Kara Lees property is really that great. They are excellent hosts and keep their property very well kept for their guests. We will be back for sure!
