Sweet Pepper Ranch's Glamping Tent

Sweet Pepper Ranch is a horse ranch nestled between a town and country.  We raise mustangs and Quarter Horses and teach the Western discipline of ranch riding. We manage our land in an eco-friendly horse manner--composting/manure management, non-toxic pest control, pasture management with rotational grazing, drought-tolerant native landscaping, mud and dust control, wildlife enhancement, equine enrichment--and more!

We also offer farm tours, RV/LQ parking, and horse motel accommodations.

Guests are invited to enjoy our solar heated pool, outdoor patios, wireless internet, evening bon fires (weather and time-permitting),  horse farm tours (by appointment only, separate fee) and our friendly ranch atmosphere.

Coffee and fresh, local bakery pastry included for breakfast, brought warm to your tent at about 7am.

Sweet Pepper Ranch is a small-scale horse ranch in the high desert of southwestern Idaho. We are nestled in a rural agricultural setting yet close to stores and conveniences. We raise and train horses and work all day to  exercise and train our horses as well as run the day-to-day aspects of running a large horse property.

Our equestrian facilities include individual paddocks with attached runs (12’ x 52’), automatic waterers, feeders, rubber stall mats, a 200' x 300' outdoor sand arena, a 72’ x 120’ indoor arena, two round pens (one large), numerous trail obstacles, large-scale permanent outdoor obstacles, an outdoor washrack, as well as parking, port-a-potty, arena bleachers, and picnic table areas. 

Nearby activities abound from visiting rodeos and wineries to trail riding at sunset near waterfalls or hiking painted desert canyons. There are wildlife refuges to visit, hot springs to relax in, wilderness mountains to explore, scenic rivers to raft, railways to travel along--and North America’s largest concentration of breeding raptors to dazzle you.

Our lovely little hobby farm, w/ goats, chicken, fruit trees & vegetable garden, is situated in a county home neighborhood. We are 3 min. from town, 2 min. from fishing at Wilson Ponds, & 15 min. to boating, swimming, fishing at Lake Lowell.  Idaho’s Capital City Boise. is an easy 20 min. drive. Other points of interest include Historic Downtown Nampa, where you'll find, dining, shopping, entertainment, PaintMainia Acrylic Paint Studio, Labyrinth Escape Rooms, Nampa Rollerdrome, Spring through the Fall Farmers Market, Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge & more. Nearby Wineries: St. Chapel, Indian Creek & more. Enjoy small-town living with nearby amusement. Showers & Year-round swimming is minutes away at Nampa Rec. They love people. especially people w/ treats! They will be in their own yard but feel free to hang out w/ them.  

Kingswood Ranch

Just 1-1/2 miles from exit 3 off the 84 Kingswood Ranch is not only a stop for weary travelers, but was created to be a haven for our Military and First Responders to come and unwind or take a class. We are a 501c3 facility.   We are in the middle of farmland where cows moo and corn grows tall. Just 12 minutes away from Ontario OR. should you need shopping.  Walking distance from a working dairy if you ever wanted to see one. We have a 90x130 riding arena, should you be hauling horses yourself and need to let them out. Our horses and dogs are available for petting/grooming should you not have any. Fire pit, outhouse, BBQ and picnic table is onsite. Freeway noise an issue for some.

A Little Bit Wilder

25 acres in the agricultural region of canyon county. Our space has easy access for large RVs, and we can accommodate dogs and horses and ATVs. We are close to wine country, hiking, shopping, fishing, and general enjoyment of our beautiful state. we have horses of our own and hey our field three times a year. We also live next-door to happy Valley orchards, which is a very fun walk to take around the cherry trees and enjoy the sunsets.

CTC Farms

Years ago when we were living "in town", we wished to find a piece of farmground where we would be able to build a home and life. Luckily, we heard this property was coming on the market and we were able to work with the owners on purchasing before listing. The previous family will always hold a special place in our hearts - they truly worked with us to allow the transaction to happen.

Since then, we have built our home and continue to chip away at projects to really make the place our own. We raise forage crops - corn, wheat, and alfalfa on a rotating basis, as well as a garden, flowers, pumpkins, pets, and kids! We hope you enjoy your visit!

Welcome to our farm and home! We are located 35 miles from I-84, 59 miles from Boise, Idaho, 14 miles from Nyssa, Oregon and 5 miles from Adrian, Oregon. Nestled on a small farm, we are just minutes from the Owyhee River where many find enjoyment fly fishing for football-sized brown trout, rainbows, and more.

With 360-degree views from the property, we invite you to set up camp and enjoy. You can have your boat at the dock of the Owyhee Reservoir in 25 minutes - or simply take a drive to enjoy the views, paddleboard, fish, swim, hike, hunt, off-road, and more. You'll find a local hot spring along the way to the Reservoir. 

Local restaurants and grocery options are as close as 20 minutes, and one burger joint even delivers! The sunrise over the valley and sunset over Mitchell Butte and the Owyhee Mountains just cannot be beat. Occasional wind storms crop up, so be prepared for that! 

Gentle pets are welcome. A round pen for horses/mules *may* be available for larger four-legged friends.
