This is the land where the original Maroa school house was built in 1914. Our house is original and is where the teachers lived. We love old houses and hope you enjoy the area while you're here!Learn more about this land:Welcome!You will be staying in our backyard pasture. We live in a quite neighborhood surrounded by beautiful farmland. There is very little noise and traffic and the night sky is amazing!!We're located one mile from US-93 and 10 minute driving distance to Twin Falls for fun shopping, great bars and restaurants, and historic hotsprings within the area. Just a mile up the road are the fish ponds, a great place to explore and get the catch of the day or head down to the Snake River for more water related opportunities. There are nice parks nearby and great opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, ATV and dirt biking, biking and running trails, boating, kayaking, rock climbing, skiing or snow boarding. There is excellent outdoor recreation any season of the year. The great Snake River canyon is 2 miles away with nearby Nationally Recognized Shoshone Falls, the Niagra of the West, with a drop of nearly 500 feet.We truly live in an amazing part of the world! Nearly every day of the year you can watch the BASE jumpers from the Perrine bridge, one of the only legal places in the country. You name it, you can do it here. We're only a few hours from Yellowstone National Park and historic Sun Valley is 90 mins north or the famous City of Rocks rock climbing area can be found south of here.About 45 minutes to an hour north of here is Craters of the Moon National Monument for some excellent caving hiking and exploring.We use this area for storing vehicles or riding toys so please be respectful of our homes and the neighbors.

Minidoka County Fairgrounds: The fairgrounds are located East of Rupert encompassing an area of approximately sixty-five acres. The grounds includes a rodeo arena, display buildings (antique building, a commercial building, 4-H building), and open air pavilion for livestock shows, family reunions, and other community events. Hidden behind the main grounds is our small and quaint campground in a groomed grassy field. with a spectacular view of Mount Harrison. The Minidoka County Fair held the first week in August and includes a full week of events including entertainment, open class exhibits, food, rodeo, 4-H and FFA livestock shows. Numerous events are held at the fairgrounds throughout the year including Moto-X races, rodeos, auctions, 4-H events. weddings, horseshows, family reunions, and more. Note-Dates have been blocked for these events. We are fortunate to have this multi-purpose facility for use in our community.

Start your Hagerman adventure at our Hagerman Homebase! Approximately 0.08 acres of private ground with shade trees and a water hook up and close to everything! Bring your trailers or tents and enjoy all Hagerman, Idaho has to offer! Site can accommodate multiple trailers, it does have two RV power hookups equipped with both 30 and 50 amp breakers, but to use both hookups you must pay for the two sites available. There is only once hydrant with city water, with a splitter so it accommodates both RV spots. Location is about 0.8 miles from the center of town where you can enjoy multiple restaurants, shops, coffee shop, wine tasting, bars and the grocery store. Nearby Activities: - Swimming, Kayaking and Paddle Board at Billingsley Creek - Kayaking/Paddle Boarding, Boating on the Snake River (Blue Heart Springs, 1000 Springs, Banbury, Ritter Island, Waterfall Views) - Motorcycle Trails nearby - Banbury Hot Springs - Miracle Hot Springs - 1000 Springs Pool - Hagerman Walking/Biking Path - Box Canyon a short drive away Town houses many rental companies for bikes, kayaks, etc. Pet friendly, however, adjacent pasture frequently has livestock so please be responsible with your animals. Dogs, especially stock dogs will need to stay out, you will be held responsible for injured livestock. Please do not go into pastures or open gates.

Looking for a stopover place with plenty of parking space? Maybe our site will be a match for you and your RV! (If your rig is not fully self-contained, please note that we do not offer facilities of any kind. You will need a privacy tent for your own portable restroom.) Our house and shop and a few other outbuildings sit on 3.5 acres on a dead-end dirt lane, and we have space we'd be open to sharing with you. We have updated our listing (May 2024) to accommodate your preferably-fully-self-contained unit in our side yard area only (because of irrigation timing in the back-yard area, we are no longer offering that area for your stay). Your parking/dry-docking space in our side yard boasts several large trees and some shade. There are some branches to navigate but there is ample space to choose your perfect spot. The site runs alongside our driveway so our vehicles will obviously be visible from your parking spot but there is plenty of room there for your extra vehicle(s) in our driveway as well. This spot has very little privacy because it is set back from our dirt lane and in between our home and our neighbor’s shed (but they are family). But it is peaceful and safe (and we are very close to "town" and all the conveniences of such). Being almost next to the Snake River, and having a natural marsh just to the North of our property, mosquito repellant is highly recommended during certain times of the year. We are just a few miles (5 mins or so) from the freeway, Walmart, restaurants, and public access to the Snake River (boating, fishing, swimming), and golfing. We have three friendly dogs (lab, Yorkie, pug-chihuahua) but we have an underground fence system so they will generally be out of your area (with a few exceptions) and most likely in our house much of the time. (Must love dogs. ♥️) IF YOU HAVE DOGS, please keep them on a leash and clean up after them appropriately, thanks!

Learn more about this land: Oakley is a Great town to visit. Oakley features Victorian style houses built in the 1800s which are very amazing to look at. There’s also a great new swimming pool and park to visit with a playground. We are also located 15 minutes away from the world famous City of Rocks National Park and Castle Rocks National Park. We have beautiful sunsets almost every night. We also are 10 minutes away from the Oakley Reservoir which has great fishing and kayaking there’s plenty of mountain roads to adventure on and see wildlife.

The River Lodge Resort property is just under 4 acres on the river with 200 feet of river frontage. There is a dock for guest use and a shallow area with stairs to it for wading and kayak/Paddleboard launch. There are lifejackets, towels, chairs and tables in the small barn by the river for guest use. Lots of pine trees for tent camping and plenty of gravel area for RV parking. There are two private homes on the property as well (owners and guest house).Learn more about this land:Riverside camping has 200 feet of river frontage. You can camp away from the river’s edge or right by the water, some terrain is sloped. Loose gravel RV parking also available. There is one outdoor, half bathroom (no shower). We have a dock available for guest use. We have three kayaks and two paddle boards available for guest use as well as lifejackets. No lifeguard on duty! There is a designated fire pit by the river. Sunsets are beautiful and mornings are peaceful, afternoons sound like a little bit of a party with all the boats on the water. You definitely get the feeling you’re on vacation here. Close to City of Rocks, mountainous bike trails, side-by-side riding, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, golf course just across the river and plenty of water sports. No boat launch on property.

His dream was to raise Arabian Horses, so that is what the property was set up to do and he did just that, very successfully. Beautiful views of the Idaho sunsets from the hill overlooking Glenns Ferry. 34 acres of peace and quiet to enjoy local wildlife, stargazing, hike around, or just use as a base to explore the local area, go fishing, hunting, or visit the winery in town. Note: you can hear the interstate and the train as it is a small town and both are within a mile from campsite Learn more about this land: Campsite is a 4 acre pasture with a small grove of trees that holds a prepared firepit as well as a rope hammock and small sitting area. Lots of birds and wildlife are around (owls, hawks, hummingbirds, deer, endless quail and rabbits, the occasional coyote or fox) and with easy access to the town and I-84 for exploring.  Picnic table and horseshoe pit located at site. We are just a few minutes drive from town where there is a grocery store, several bars, Six Creeks Mercantile where you can grab a great cup of coffee, a golf course, Y-Knot winery, and fishing on the Snake River. This is a great location for exploration of the area, birding, fishing, or hunting up near Bennett Mountain. Only 20 min drive from Bruneau Sand Dunes. We are also very conveniently located off of I-84 for road-trippers passing through. As we are near the interstate there are some constant road noise sounds. LGBTQIA+ friendly, Pet friendly.  We are a tent and car camping only site as we do not have facilities for a trailer and we the pasture is on a slight slope so will not be able to find a level spot for a larger trailer. Small travel trailers will be allowed, but do note there are no power hookups. We have firewood available and will try to have a small supply at the firepit, but if you would like extra or want to guarantee some available please add it on. We look forward to sharing our beautiful view of the Snake River valley above Glenns Ferry with you! Clear skies and happy trails!
