In the early 1900's three sheep ranchers--August Broderson, James Fisher, and Isaac Leighton--each purchased residential lots in Weiser and built brick homes designed by Idaho architect H. W. Bond. This property, which we named Butterfield Farms, was built in 1915 by August Broderson, who emigrated from Germany to the US in 1892. The Broderson family lived here for decades and were a prominent family in Weiser history. Learn more about this land:The campsite is located on our small family-run farm in Weiser, ID. Our 2 1/2 acre historic farm is located in the heart of town, so you have the best of both worlds: easy access to town amenities, and a restful retreat in nature at the end of the day. Grocery store, seasonal farmer's market, coffee shop, eateries, library, and downtown shops are all within easy walking or biking distance. Weiser is known world-wide for its annual fiddle festival in June! Our campsite is within walking or biking distance of all of the Fiddle Week activities. Campsite is located underneath a large shady oak tree. Campers are welcome to use the fire pit when fire bans are not in effect. Electric hookups are located immediately next to the campsite, as well as a non-potable water source. Note that we are located in town and campers are required to observe quiet hours between 10pm and 8am and be courteous of neighbors.

It is surrounded on all sides by Payette, Salmon-Challis, and Sawtooth National Forests, it is situated conveniently close to both urban fun in Boise, and limitless wilderness adventures everywhere else. Alpine tundra is dotted with evergreen forest in the green rolling hills here, topped with snow, and anchored by sparkling valley waterways. The Payette River is great for rafting, while Banks Beach and Beehive Bend are just some of the prime access points on the forest’s 250 lakes and reservoirs (Arrowrock Reservoir has surprisingly primo salmon fishing for central Idaho).
Hikers will find 500 trails, including some that lead to 360-panoramic views at fire lookouts. The ambitious should try 10,000-foot high Trinity Mountain, while more liesurely trekkers will get just as good a view at Silver Creek. As if that’s not all enough to keep you busy, there are also endless mountain biking trails, including a scenic route along Shafer Butte. You’ll have your hands full at this intersection of so many great parks!

As luck would have it Lucky Peak Lake is a hell of a good time in and out of the water for naturalists, adventurers, and those who consider themselves “professional relaxers”. Take to your boat for a day of water skiing or fishing. You’ll be surrounded by lush green foothills, and there’s plenty of trails for hikers, bikers and pony riders to explore these areas. Off-roading is cool too if you want to pick up the pace. Fishing is, well, pretty epic with both the lake and Boise River at your beck and call. Picnic shelters and group camping means you can bring along the whole gang, and with such close proximity to happening Boise, you can spend an evenings out on the town before a sleeping bag adventure under the stars in one of Lucky Peak’s campgrounds. I was met by Erin upon arrival. She was friendly and a great host (same for communication prior to arrival).
The location is set back in a lot behind the home. Its safe and secure with power and water. Nearby is a great firepit area (we didn't use as it was 95 degrees) and a gentle sheep named Tilly. Fun, quirky and comfortable! Really enjoyed our stay!

Erin has a beautiful campsite. It is very quiet, lots of shade from a huge tree, flowers, a campfire site, electric hookups, and a rural farm atmosphere in town. I highly recommend this site.

Parking is in a dirt backyard next to a cornfield, which I thought was neat. It looks like they were in the process of planting new trees to add shade.
There is a large common grass area with a fire pit that can be shared with other campers. They have a bathroom in a shed. That may sound off-putting, but it was very clean, nice, and unique!! Also, without hook-ups, it was convenient to have a bathroom on site.
We were in the area to visit friends so we didn't spend a lot of time at the site during the day. It was quiet and peaceful at night. Kimberly made sure to call and check in on us after we arrived. She was super friendly.

This pla e is really nice, the house has the old southern house vive with big trees, Kim is a great host, she tried to accommodate all my needs, the driveway down to the house it's gravel but really very easy , I've made it with my 28ft trailer.
You can use the firepit, she has smores ready to go.
I would totally recomand the place. Also super close with Caldwell downtown, that is cute with great places to eat.

Just a small, quiet campground which has had a lot of improvements from the previous year. We loved our stay last time and throughly enjoyed staying here again. The owner was not in town so we were greeted by her friend who was house sitting. She was super cool and gave us several recommendations of restaurants in the area. I was not cooking after our long day of travel!! I really enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the birds and fresh country air verses the road noise when we have to stop at a Cracker barrel or rest stop. We will definitely come here again, next time we are traveling through.
This place is close to I 84 so very easy to get to.

Good place to rest for the night! Reliable power outlet and close to groceries and the main part of town. Some neighbor dogs were outside during the day, which may or may not affect your own pet. Overall would recommend.
