Wildlife abounds on this waterfront Little Spokane River Property! Enjoy the feeling of seclusion, yet you’re only 3 minutes from all the amenities of town. Located in the Wandermere area in North Spokane County, we are just 20 minutes from downtown, and less than 30 minutes to Spokane International Airport.
While hanging out on our Little Spokane River property, you could encounter moose, bald eagles, beavers, minks, ducks, geese, and other water fowl, hummingbirds, bats (in the evening), deer, and a countless variety of birds and other wildlife. On the other hand, you’re just a stone’s throw from Wandermere and Kalispel Golf Courses, movie theaters, restaurants, grocery and shopping. If you’re not in the mood to go out or cook, Uber Eats and the like can deliver whatever your heart desires!
Complementary River-Side amenities are available to all guests of the property on a first come first serve basis include:
- Community Port-a-potty tent
- picnic table and a variety of seating options
- hammock
- floaties for “stationary floating” (connected to anchor in river)
- life jackets
- picnic blankets
- ice chests (ice not available on site)
- Small community propane BBQ grill
Amenities available at additional cost include:
- 2 person kayak rental with pickup downstream
- 3 or 7 speed cruiser bike rentals
- Inflatable paddle board rentals with transport to/from Bear or Loon Lake
I also have one concrete up to 35ft RV Pad with water hookup and basic power. And a large open field area that’s about 1/2 way between the river and house that would be perfect for a large group. I will be posting pics and info soon, but in the mean time, feel free to reach out if interested!

Sara’s cabin was a perfect last stop on our road trip. It was so clean, quiet, and cozy. The morning stroll through the property down to the river with the dogs was refreshing and peaceful. I wished I could have stayed longer! I would absolutely go back on any future Spokane trips.

We truly enjoyed ourselves at The Bunk House. Stayed two nights. The amenties were on point and made it so easy to last minute plan a mini trip. We only needed food and clothes. We spent most of our days down at the river. The kids loved playing all day in the water. Floaties included. Sara is a very attentive host. Her two dog's were awesome and were great with our small baby dog. Great vibes! We will be back!!

Weekend Trip to Little Spokane Riverside Retreat
Sarah is an amazing hostess! We loved it so much we went back the following weekend! We are so thankful she has chosen to share her property for others to have some joy as well. There are water toys available as well as hammock and other outdoor furniture.The bunkhouse is a great place! Sarah has some thoughtful amenities. The pillows and mattress were so comfortable neither one of us got up in the middle of the night as we usually do. I will vote Sarah as the super host of hip camp.

We had the best experience staying here! The owner has clearly poured so much love, thought, and effort into making this place feel cozy, peaceful, and stress-free. She went so far above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we felt welcome — it honestly felt like staying at a friend’s hidden paradise.
Every little detail made our stay special, and I’m so grateful she chooses to share this beautiful spot with others. Wishing her all the success in the world — she deserves it! We’ll absolutely be back.
