The Jewell House

Built on historic "Jewell On The Green" in 1895, this charming Victorian home boasts over 40 acres of mostly native land with a half mile of riverfront as well as a pond.  Learn more about this land:The Jewell House is an 1895 Victorian home with a large front porch and picturesque 'village green" view.  Most of our over 40 acres are native and we have a half mile of riverfront to explore.  Stay in comfort but enjoy daily hikes, bike rides, fishing, hunting, etc.

Peaceful Elberton

Elberton is the granite capital of the world. The Georgia Guide Stones and Lake Russell are just a few miles away from this property/campsite. Rest and camp at this rural site for a peaceful getaway, or use it as your operations base for visiting all the attractions in Elberton. Have fun! =)

Very top of the property where the road in begins. This area is where pop-ups, RV's etc should park. (Unless you have 4WD) Unfortunately this is the best pic I have of this part- I'll take another as soon as I can get up there.

Small gate I threw together to mark absolute end of recommended 2wd travel. Past here you will definitely get stuck without 4WD

Leach Homestead

Our site offers 50 beautiful rolling acres of forrest, field, and ponds. The ponds are stocked for fishing and there is a sandy beach for swimming and building sand castles. There are many trails throughout the property. You will have your choice of primative sites and we also have a small apartment if you prefer sleeping indoors with a bathroom and shower. Friendly pets are welcome. 

We offer free kayak use or 4wheeler rental. 

Running through our property is  the historical Mine Creek wich played a part in events of the Civil War. https://www.carolana.com/SC/Revolution/revolution_mine_creek.html 
You can find several historical markers in the area. 

Dinner! (or some of it)  We provided the food and the grates.  Victor provided the burn pit and wood.
