Arabia Mountain Farm

We became the owners of this 6 acres in 2020. We have since started a large garden, have goats and chickens, and have had many projects. We love sharing this beautiful space with others!

We are surrounded by the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Reserve, 4000 acres of beauty. There are hiking and biking trails, 2 lakes for fishing, kayaking on the South River, or have a lazy day in the woods. So much to enjoy for outdoor lovers.

Being under the canopy of the pine trees really helps keep the site cool during Georgia summers.

We have a nice outhouse and outdoor shower with hot water that are available to campers. We do live on the property and the bathroom area is shared with others.

Munson Hill Farm

The farm was purchased 40 years ago by the Miller family. Two families have been raised here it has been a great home. Local Boy Scout Troops have camped here on numerous occasions and always been back for more. NW GA Farm Stay

Footehills Farmhouse is a small family owned and operated farm in Northwest, GA, in the little town of  Taylorsville. We are stewards of 18 beautiful acres, and nestled between hills covered in hardwoods and Old Taylorsville Church Cemetery. We are very close to Atlanta, GA, Red Top Mountain State Park, The Booth Museum, Tellus Science Museum and the City of Cartersville, GA. GA mountains and apple country are a short 1.5 hour drive from our location. Our farm is a small local market style farm, hosting many TN Fainting Goats (enjoy all the kids in the spring), Sheep and spring lambs, around 40 or so chickens and piggies depending on the season. We also grow figs, herbs garlic and veggies. Feel free to harvest a few fresh herbs and produce for your first dinner!

We moved our camp chairs under our canopy and added a side panel to enjoy a brief rain. Hills in the background are part of the farm property. A return visit will certainly include a hike there.

We set up camp between the shed and the camper. This was full sun, which we wanted for our solar panel, but there are many shady spots.

there are paths across 4 acres minimum of the property to explore and find all sorts of natural inhabitants. There is a very large firepit and seating area where tent site could go or you can choose a more secluded area in the back. In emergencies we will be in the main house but this is primitive camping, no amentities included other than bottled water, trash can and a shovel. Dogs are welcome to stay in the fenced yard, but will be an additional fee for boarding, they can stay with you at your site for free but please dont allow them to bark all night. 

We want to be hands off only provide the land and your privacy on it.

Close to the renfair, sweetwater creek, serenbe, downtown atlanta, Chattahoochee hills and Chattahoochee river
