It is 20.54 acres peacefully located between big land owners on each side, and a creek that runs through the middle that separates north from south pieces. Our trails are groomed and some just deer worn. We have one camp site that is rural and rustic. There is a bucket for the restroom and antique, old white kitchen sink for hand washing just outside it. There is no running water yet, but working on getting a water reservoir out there asap. No electricity yet a single power cord could be run for extra $10.00 for your visit. There is a fire pit close to the tent spot on, “Skip’s Campsite”. Another camp site” Aqua-Fine-A” that has a walk in creek access, and you have to cross the creek to get to that one. It is farther away from “Skip’s bathroom access. It has a more established flag stone fire pit. It is our original primitive sight. There is no water reservoir or possibility of electricity at “Aqua-Fine-A” campsite. Everything must be packed in and out on foot. Both sights require a hike to campsites on foot with uneven rooted trails. {You are welcome to use our well loved red wheelbarrow to haul items in}. There is access to a bigger fire pit “M & M fire pit”, and a propane grill option (this is first come first serve/sharing spot). More campsites developing over time and there is a massage practitioner on site if you are looking for the whole experience (29 years experience in healing modalities and shamanic blood line). If you are looking to experience nature cabin style then, “The Minor Escape” is for you. This has a full refrigerator, full stand up filtered water shower, kitchen sink, separate master, two bedroom lofts with ladder access, kitchen sink, ceiling fans, window a/c units for summer and space heaters for winter (Eden pure heater that shows fireplace flames). Our family loves this land and there is always new areas being cultivated in various spots. You will see us out there either with our hobby farm of animals, gardening or building a new area. I am a teacher, guide, artist, and healer. This land is sacred and magical. It is used to heal, restore, inspire and rejuvenate many locally and internationally.

It is located eight miles north of the small town of Heflin, Alabama, which is about an hour and a half from the metro areas of Birmingham, Alabama, and Atlanta, Georgia. Off a small county road, a private half-mile gravel road leads to the property’s end. The cabin is surrounded by hundreds of square miles of forest. To the west, directly behind the cabin, there are over nine miles of continuous forest before reaching a hard-top road, and beyond that, over six miles to the next road. We provide a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, oven with stovetop, dishwasher, and kitchenware to make your stay comfortable. You will be blown away by the mountain and creek views. A hiking path leads up to an overlook with a swing — the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sunrise. We are 15–20 minutes from Indian Mountain ATV Park (with space to park your trailer) and less than a two-hour drive to Birmingham, Chattanooga, and Atlanta. Visit Gadsden (~35 minutes) to explore Noccalula Falls Park, especially beautiful with Christmas lights, or Fort Payne (~an hour) to explore Little River Canyon and Desoto Falls. We also have a raised-bed vegetable garden that guests are welcome to harvest during their stay. Our property offers especially stunning views in the fall when the leaves are changing. The property spans both sides of the bike path at mile marker 9 on the Chief Ladiga.

Weekend Trip to Iremide Family Farm

This campsite was exactly what we were looking for. Tent camping with upgraded amenities that made it easier with two kids under three. Tent was clean, there were games and outdoor toys available for the kids, the grass was well maintained and we spent our entire weekend barefoot. Air conditioning was available if needed, but we didn’t use it. We were 7 minutes drive from the Georgia renaissance festival. Our entire weekend was magical and our boys’s first time camping and first renn fest was absolutely spectacular.

4 nights at Cozy Camper Getaway

Great property. Great RV. Deer in the morning, kids chased grasshoppers for hours. We lucked out with rain, but when it did, plenty of games to keep us occupied. Outside has the corn hole and axe throw (plastic), pretty much all the bells and whistles for RV living. Interior was well put together and proximity to Calaway gardens, pine mtn, and FDR was hard to beat.

We loved the area and the vision being developed. The tent was very comfortable and it weathered the severe thounderstorm that passed through over night. Lots of land to roam and explore and a pond for fishing (bass). Loved the hammocks and hiking trails. This would be a great place for a family reunion or other large gathering wanting to have space and be out in nature. Hosts were great! We had a lovely chat and tour to see what's ahead in their plans. Highly recommend following to see what comes next!

Beautiful camp spot close to town! My friend and I just wanted to come in for the night while I was in town to get away. We didn't use the showers or amenities (like the canoes) but wish we'd had more time. The camp area was lovely, the firepit is large & the twinkling lights made it feel magical. Would recommend! Our only issue was the barking dogs surrounding the property, which Brittany has no control of. We ended up leaving at 2AM because we could not sleep...but I'm extra sensitive to noises so for the average person this may not be a problem.

I stayed in the Minor Cabin, and I really can't say enough good things about it! It's located in a beautiful area, with lots of woods to explore! The cabin is furnished with everything you could want, there is even a cute kitchen when you can prepare a meal. The cabin is very spacious, extremely clean, and oh so comfortable!! The cats on property are so cute, and some even come to say hello! The bed is very comfortable, the tub is amazing, they have a nice selection of DVDs, the porch areas are so lovely! You look right into the forest from the porch! This place is so extremely peaceful! I can't wait to come back!

Weekend Trip to Iremide Family Farm

Had a great experience at this campsite! There were plenty of opportunities to roast food over the fire and just enjoy hanging out around the campfire, which really made for a cozy, memorable stay. We also made good use of the shower amenities and appreciated the easy access to a portable restroom — both were clean and convenient. The gas grill and generator were huge pluses and made things a lot easier during our stay. The only thing to note is that there isn’t a lot of lighting around the campsite at night. It’s definitely manageable, but I’d recommend bringing some tiki torches or other lighting sources to make navigating after dark a bit easier. Overall, it was an awesome spot and we’d definitely come back!

We brought our 4 kids for their first camping trip and it was such a fun time. This is the ultimate “glamping” experience. There is so much to love about this location! The different hiking trails and waterfalls were simply beautiful. I have nothing negative to share. This was a great idea for our family. The staff at the park were so kind. We had an amazing experience. The property is very family-friendly. We went with our three kids, and they could run and explore safely. Even though the host wasn’t there, everything went smoothly. She even sent freshly cut firewood with a worker and was very attentive. At one point, we called her to ask how to turn on the generator, and she kindly explained everything. The place has everything you need: heating, a fan, air conditioning, a grill, a space for a campfire with dry wood, a toilet, a shower, big inflatable mattresses, night lights, and rugs. There weren’t many blankets, but the ones there were enough since the heater kept us warm (and we only used it for about an hour and a half). Even though it rained, we stayed dry in the tent. Watching the sunrise was beautiful, and we could hear roosters in the distance. I definitely recommend it!
