Taylorsville. We are stewards of 18 beautiful acres, and nestled between hills covered in hardwoods and Old Taylorsville Church Cemetery. We are very close to Atlanta, GA, Red Top Mountain State Park, The Booth Museum, Tellus Science Museum and the City of Cartersville, GA. Enjoy our local winery and brewery as well.
GA mountains and apple country are a short 1.5 hour drive from our location. Our farm is a small local market style farm, hosting many TN Fainting Goats (enjoy all the kids in the spring), Sheep and spring lambs, around 40 or so chickens and piggies depending on the season.
We also grow figs, herbs garlic and veggies.

This creek property was probably used by the Creek and then the Cherokee as a campsite because of the abundant water and wild life. Later is was farm land and in the 1920's had approximately fifty mules working the land. The Old barn and blacksmith shop are still here. In 1977 the government planned to put a four lane toll road through here but was stopped by the oil embargo which caused the right of way to be auctioned. We were able to buy 200 acres for a small amount of money and have been raising cattle and camping on it every since that time. As a Scout Master I have been using this site for camping for the past 15 years. Time to let others enjoy.

Kindling and firewood is provided. ten minute walk to the main house for potable water and other needs. 37 acre farm with hills and a wide variety of wildlife and plants to inspect. Camp is in rural area couple hundred yards off county road but secluded. Plenty of deer, turkey, geese, wild ducks, beaver and other wild life in the area.
A secondary campsite is provided down the creek with area for tent near creek. Fire pit and firewood is provided.

This is a very nice spot, but there are a few things I wish we had known in advance. It doesn’t have the privacy we hoped for, as the two campsites are less than 100 feet apart with very few trees in between. Next time, we’ll rent both campsites so we have it all to ourselves. There’s a rooster nearby that starts getting very active around 4:30 AM. Also, the creek has no current so it gets very buggy - bring plenty of bug spray! Some firewood was supplied but wasn’t chopped, and it wasn’t kept under cover… fortunately it hadn’t rained in awhile so it wasn’t too wet to burn, but I wish we had brought an axe.

If my dog could use Hipcamp, he would book this site every week. Great shady space for camping and relaxing. The outhouse looks good- clean and well-kept. We saw deer when driving around, and someone's Pyrenees came by to check us out but didn't engage with my dog.

This was our very first RV camping trip and we honestly couldn’t have picked a better place. Erin, the host, felt more like a friend than anything else. He and his wife were so welcoming, easy to talk to, and always checking in to make sure we were good. Anytime we had a question, they were quick to help out.
The property itself is gorgeous. Wide open spaces, peaceful views, and our dogs were in heaven being able to run and play freely. It was one of those spots where you instantly feel at home and don’t want to leave. The sunsets are unbeatable. Our camper is big and the pad had so much space, which was also great for us first timers backing up into a spot. Erin was so gracious to help us!
We’re so glad this was our first camping experience - it sure set the bar high! Can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to come back!

I will stay here again if in the area and highly recommend. Beautiful property to camp at and Clif was a great host! Amazing sunset view over the lake with mountains in the background but he has plenty of options. Porta-potty is a plus. Clif communicated quickly before and during my stay and even gave me a fun little Jeep tour of his property with his sweet dog BlackBerry following along.

As usual! Another great weekend camping on cliffs, beautiful land. The days were a little warm, mid 80s but, the evenings and nights were very crisp and refreshing. Cliff had mowed most of the areas where you could pitch your tent or set up camp. The land is always lovely peaceful quiet. Can’t wait to get back there again. Porta potty was clean as usual. It was good to see blackberry, Clif’s dog come out as she usually does when campers first arrive. She is extremely friendly. She doesn’t bark or get in the way she just greets you with her tail constantly wagging! She will usually come around a couple of times while you were there, just to check in on you and make sure everything is going okay, Lol…She usually only stays for a few minutes and you might not see her for another half a day or so. Cliff is such a gracious host! He came out the first day just to check in and make sure I didn’t need anything. He even provided a fire ring full of wood. I spent most of my time just relaxing, fishing, “great fishing “ reading and doing nothing. I absolutely love this place. You will too! Thank you so much again !!!

I had a pretty good time at clif’s campground. It was very quiet there was nobody else there. The only kind of amenities there is just a porta potty which can be both a good or bad thing depending on what you’re looking for. I had two bars of Verizon service pretty much all over the campground.
This campground is right next to a big pond and also a cow farm so you kinda get to see both things
Even though the weather said, it would be really bad. The hill blocked a lot of the rain so the weather was pretty good the whole time.
The road to get to the campsite had a few branches down in it, but it was no problem getting there on my motorcycle

What a gem of a property and hosts! We wanted to be a bit away from the Atlanta craziness and stay somewhere quiet and unique. Erin's farm is just that. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and backed into the RV spot without issue. Great 50A power and water. We also purchased some goat cheese and some great essential oils bug spray (on the farm's website). Our original 4 night stay was lengthened unexpectedly by some repair issues we had, and Erin and his wife were so very gracious to work with us as we searched for solutions. If you are ever there for a longer stay and need your tanks pumped out, we recommend The Poo-Lice out of Cartersville. They were great and familiar with this Hipcamp. Taylorsville is very small, but there's a great new place just down the road, Pop's General Store. More than basic grocery provisions, gas, locally made products, and a cafe. We ate there twice. Rockmart is about 15 minutes south and has most of the other stores you might need. Tip - if you are a larger rig, there's a very small bridge right on the north side of this property with a 10 ton weight limit. We're in a 39 ft 5th wheel and over that. Approach from the south! Our host let us know that when I asked. Most roads in this area are pretty narrow.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Our host met us shortly after we arrived and gave us the skinny on everything. The site was in pristine shape, well defined, flat and graveled. The water and 50 amp service worked perfectly. This is a working farm and has goats, sheep, and donkeys along with a very friendly and well-fed dog named Gordo. It was a nice open area surrounded by trees. The evenings were quiet with fireflies near the tree line. There is a very nice fire ring, although we used our free standing propane fire pit at night.
Everything about our stay was perfect. If you are going to be near the area, I would strongly encourage you to book a stay here.
