Beautiful log cabin built in the early 1930s; the front of the house originally served as a local bait shop. We have the largest lot on the lake and the best view. During the winter, you can even see Stone Mountain in the distance.
The property features a large fire pit, a metal kayak, and a Jon boat for your use. Our lake is fully stocked with largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and bluegill. There are plenty of great spots to pitch a tent, and since we are situated on a hill, there is no need to worry about flooding.
The Bait Shack includes one bedroom with a queen bed and a bunk bed (twin over full). There is also a large couch in the living room and an air mattress tucked under the bunk bed for extra guests. We are a five-minute walk to the public train, giving you easy access to the entire city. We are also about 12 minutes from the airport and only two miles from downtown and the stadium.
Having lived and traveled in a van for over five years, I am forever a part of this community and lifestyle. I know it is always a treat to find somewhere safe and welcoming while visiting a major city, and that is exactly our goal for you. The tiny house sits behind a concrete block facade that remains from an old house. The space in front of the house may look empty, but it has been used by the farmers for seed starts. In the future, we will be converting the space to a patio with seating and ping pong.
The water heater is small - pretend you’re glamping! You can get about a 5 minute shower or a good excuse for skipping it altogether.

You may wander the farm, but please stay off the beds and be mindful that these guys work really hard!
The farm is pretty quiet January and part of February.
Other things to note
There is also a vintage Airstream on the property and is also rented out on Airbnb.

Beautiful log cabin built in the early 1930s; the front of the house originally served as a local bait shop. We have the largest lot on the lake and the best view. During the winter, you can even see Stone Mountain in the distance.
The property features a large fire pit, a metal kayak, and a Jon boat for your use. Our lake is fully stocked with largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and bluegill. There are plenty of great spots to pitch a tent, and since we are situated on a hill, there is no need to worry about flooding.
The Bait Shack includes one bedroom with a queen bed and a bunk bed (twin over full). There is also a large couch in the living room and an air mattress tucked under the bunk bed for extra guests. The water heater is small - pretend you’re glamping! You can get about a 5 minute shower or a good excuse for skipping it altogether.

We had such an amazing stay here! The site is beautiful, peaceful, and so thoughtfully put together. There were space heaters and fans throughout, plus two fire pits (one outside and one inside) that made everything feel extra cozy.
The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils, and they even left us a dozen farm fresh eggs to enjoy — such a generous touch. There was plenty of pre-cut firewood along with everything needed to easily start a fire.
What really stood out were all the added comforts — blankets, books, board games, and even a TV with an Xbox and plenty of games and movies. It truly felt like camping with all the comforts of home.
The campsite is quiet, private, and feels very safe, while still being close enough to town if you need anything. The host was kind and accommodating, especially when a website glitch affected my original Valentine’s booking. They communicated clearly and helped us rebook for the following weekend without any issues.
My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our time here and will definitely be back!

This cabin was the perfect mountain escape—quiet, tucked into a ravine, and surrounded by winding roads and beautiful views. We arrived late Friday, please note when arriving in the dark it may be a bit hard to find but for us it just added to the laughs. There was no signal out near the cabin, so it took a bit of teamwork, but we got it figured out.
Saturday was all about the outdoors: breakfast at Bear Necessities Café, then hiking Amicalola Falls (about 40 mins away, but again we appreciated the drive through the mountains and we're not rushed to do anything). We tackled the 425+ stairs at the falls, and tag-teamed carrying our dog, who absolutely refused the metal steps 😂. Sunday’s rain slowed things down in the best way—gold mine tour, incredible Mediterranean food at Pharaoh’s Feast, then soaking in the hot tub and ending each night with a campfire. Peaceful, cozy, and dog-friendly. Couldn’t ask for more.

This was a perfect weekend getaway! We only stayed a single night, but this tiny gem is equipped with everything you need. Beautiful setting, even in winter.
We weren't concerned but we were wondering how well heated the cabin would be. When we woke in the morning it was 24F, feels like 9F, and we had had a toasty night. Blankets provided were perfect. Space heater was excellent. The floor and bottom level were cooler, but the heat rising to the sleeping loft necessitated turning on the fan to circulate and ease a bit of stuffiness, as crazy as that is.
And the hot tub was blessedly HOT, even in the freezing weather. Towels provided. We thoroughly enjoyed a bit of stargazing even with the string lights lit.
We wished we had remembered our firewood. The fire pit by the creek is so inviting, with log formed benches and a bar height one for ease with refreshments. It was still a great coffee spot in the morning.
Jodi and her team are excellent communicators. I was able to consult with them about some of the forest roads in the area as we wanted to do the short day hike to the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. MAJOR TIP: approach the parking lot from the north/west direction on the forest service road.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

My daughters and I had a wonderful stay. The mattresses were genuinely comfortable, and the aromatherapy diffuser was a nice touch.
The lodge restaurant was incredibly convenient with good food, saving us from meal planning. The nearby trails were easily accessible for exploring.
All tent amenities worked well—Keurig, mini fridge, and climate control functioned as described. Our only issue was the coffee maker lacked water, but we had some packed for hiking.
The outdoor setup with hammocks, fire ring, and grill provided authentic camping feel without needing to bring anything. The bathhouse proximity wasn’t ideal in the cold, but wasn’t too far.

We really enjoyed our stay. The camper is the perfect size for two people. We also had our two small dogs. Unfortunately it was really cold when we were there, so we couldn't take full advantage of the amenities (like the hammocks!!). Space heaters were provided in the camper and bathroom and took the chill out of the air. There's also a wood stove in the barn, which we used one night. However, since the barn is open to the outside, the space really doesn't heat up and you have to be sitting directly in front of the stove to warm up. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful space with lots of homey details. Also, the fireplace and fire pit were prepped with kindling and firestarter--making it super convenient to get the fire started.
The bathroom is nice and spacious; I loved the rain showerhead, and the toiletries provided. There's also a nice little kitchen area, including dishes, a small fridge, electric cooktop and a few pots/pans, coffee maker, and even an ice maker.
The string lights outside the camper are pretty bright--it would be nice if they were on a timer or if there was a remote/instructions for turning them off at night. That's really my only complaint.
Kaitlin was friendly and easy to communicate with. We had no issues accessing the property and orienting ourselves.
I'd definitely come back, preferably in a shoulder season when I could take full advantage of hanging out in the barn and hammocks. It's a lovely, magical little spot!

1 night at Glampsite 17 Acre Farm South of ATL
A most magical spot that is both expansive and private! It's hard to believe that it could be even better than it is in the photos, but it is. The barn space is so unique, welcoming and well set up. The trailer bedroom space was comfortable and cozy, even in subzero overnight temperatures. The showerheads and water pressure are great, and we were able to prep food in the generous kitchen space. This is great find for those passing through and for those visiting Atlanta.

Weekend Trip to Welcome To Blue Fork Farm!
Perfect weekend getaway! Had An amazing time at the Blue Fork Farm. It’s a beautiful property and Andy & Anna provide all you could ask for. Short drive to several nice hikes and nature walks and a lil longer to go into town for food or other things you might need. 10/10
